Otras tierras.

Quizás desde esas montañas

perdidas al sentido

podremos divisar otras

tierras que al desdoblarse

en las ansias de su espera

dejará entrar las voces

de nuestras luchas

dejando de lado

el amargo sabor de la muerte.

Ya el viento solo, no puede

levantar el tronar de rocas

chocando en los lejanos

acantilados, solo los hombres

llegados desde otro sueños

abandonados en las efímeradas

almohadas de los dictadores,

podrán revertir los pasos agotados

por los vaticinios de las Sibilas.

Quizás desde esas montañas

pálidas por el canto de rocio

se levante el cántico

de los pastores trayendo

los olores recién impresos

en sus ropajes,

y tus ojos abiertos

con el viento suave que baja

desde sus gargantas distinguirán

esos tonos verdes

recalcitrantes que invaden

los páramos aledaños.

Other lands.

Perhaps from these mountains
lost to the sense
we can distinguish other
lands that to unfold
in the craving of their wait
will let the voices
of our struggles
leaving aside
the bitter taste of death.
Soon the wind alone can not
lift the thunder of the rock
crash into the distant
cliffs, only the arrivals
of men from other dreams
abandoned in the ephemeral
pillows of the dictators
can reverse the steps exhausted
by the predictions of the Sibyls.
Perhaps from these mountains
pale by the song of the spray
adjournment of the song
of the shepherds bringing
the freshly smells printed
in his robes,
and your eyes open
with gentle wind that come down
from their throats distinguished
those greens tone
recalcitrant that invade
the surrounding moors.

Pachamama.

La madre tierra abrio su vientre
dejando salir treinta-tres corazones

Nuestros ojos humedecidos
en el gozo exultante por las
imágenes no dejaban de juguetear
con el eufórico triunfo de los besos
mojados por el éxtasis de la vida.

Pachamama te ofrendo nuestra sangre
derramada, en esta nueva gesta de
un pueblo noble y solidario.

Pachamama.

The mother earth opened her womb

letting out thirty-three hearts

courageous, and in an act of faith made

stumble the topography, oceans

and stars, the cartographic drawings

went mad,

and the magnetic poles caught

in their magnet the eyes of the universe.

My people holding hands

of the Pachamama's prayed to the beat

of the mountain and with a song

simple in his words penetrated
the stone veil to touch the wings

invisible of the hearts.

Our eyes moistened

in exultant joy by

images did not stop playing

with the euphoric triumph of kisses

wet by the ecstasy of life.

Pachamama I offer you our shed
blood in this new heroic deed of

our people noble and solidary.

Pachamama is a goddess revered by the indigenous people of the Andes. Pachamama is usually translated as "Mother Earth" but a more literal translation would be "Mother world" (in Aymara and Quechua mama = mother / pacha = world or land; and later spread fairly modern as the cosmos or the universe).[1] Pachamama and Inti are the most benevolent deities and are worshiped in parts of the Andean mountain ranges, also known as Tawantinsuyu (stretching from present day Ecuador to Chile and Argentina).

Solo.

Only.

Only the voice of those who fell slain
will be heard among the big
groves that surround the square where
someday imperial cannons rested.

Only birds dare in a dizzying fly
cross the border from where the hatred grows
the evils that spread throughout the world.

Only with your hands you could plait
the hope trying to cover the wounds
made by the rusty yataghans
of mercenaries of forever.

Only birds dare in a dizzying fly
crossing the border from where hatred grows
the evils that spread throughout the world.

Only one day I can climb the clouds
planting the flags with the clean truth
of the bread and the ancient hands of our people
that constructed the shelter of the heart.

Only birds dare in a dizzying fly
crossing the border from where hatred grows
the evils that spread throughout the world.

Only my skin has been able to remove traces
left by the blows, leaving the pores that
breathes the music breathed by the people
of my country.
