El vientre

El vientre

El premio y la muerte.

Envuelto en la nobleza

de la paz como su premio,

tranquilo, inmutable

con una leve sonrisa de alivio,

complaciente baja en un golpe certero

su dedo índice

da la partida a las máquinas sofisticadas

dirigidas por la muerte envueltas

en el paño mortecino de los dolores.

Solo desde los cuartos en llama se

dejan sentir ruidos lejanos a su alcurnia

y su voz engolada con la enjundia

rebotan entre las mamparas y luces

diciendo:

"América nunca ha luchado contra una democracia"

mentira peregrina con ruidos de zozobras,

lágrimas de rabia y el olor a óxidos

antiguos de la sangre fresca pintando

las vetustas murallas que

corren por las venas heridas de America Latina

tendiendo la mano solidaria a los habitantes

del Magreb que con los corazones

destruidos por las balas levantan

la voz entre la arena y el viento

pidiendo misericordia.

The award and death.

Wrapped in the nobility
of peace as a prize,
tranquil, unchanging
with a slight smile of relief,
complacent point down in a single blow
his index finger
giving the start to those sophisticated machines
led by the death wrapped
in the dull cloth of the pain.
Only from the rooms in flame
the noise felt far from their lineage
and pompous voice with substance
bouncing off the screens and lights
saying
"America has never fought against democracy"
strange lies with the sounds of anxieties,
tears of rage and the smell of antique oxide
painting with fresh blood
the venerable walls
that run through the wounds veins of Latin America
outstretched hand of solidarity to the people
of Maghreb that with the hearts
destroyed by the bullets
raised their voice in the sand and wind

asking for mercy.

Javier Heraud (Poeta Peruano)

Javier Heraud

Javier Heraud Pérez (1942-1963) was a Peruvian poet and member of the Ejército de Liberación Nacional (ELN).

In January 1963, a group led by the 21-year old poet Javier Heraud and Alain Elias crossed through Bolivia, where they picked up weapons, and entered southern Peru. Plagued by Leishmaniasis infection however, the 15 member team decided to enter the city of Puerto Maldonado to seek out medical supplies. The local police were warned of the group's advance, and on May 15 Heraud was shot in the chest and killed while he drifted past the town in a dugout canoe.

Mi voz…

Mi voz descansa entre

las palomas,

entre el olor

de la tierra húmeda,

en medio de

tus manos hacendosas,

en el diálogo fraterno,

en la reunión partidaria.

He llevado mi voz

por parajes

con fragancia de flores

recién nacidas,

entre los dolores,

y la muerte que

no quiere cerrar sus ojos.

Mi voz lleva la solidaridad

a los torturados,

a los heridos

a los dolientes,

a las tierras asoladas,

a los peregrinos

que recorren

el camino

de las esperanzas.

Mi voz vuela entre

la copa de los

árboles tratando

de atrapar

el sueño

de los viejos

chamanes

de mi tierra.

My voice ...

My voice lies between
the pigeons,
the smell
of wet land,
amid
your industrious hands,
in the fraternal dialogue,
in the party meeting.
I carried my voice
for places
with newborn

scented flowers
between the pain,
and the death
that not want to close his eyes.
My voice carries solidarity
to the tortured,
to the wounded
to the mourners,
to the torn land,
to the pilgrims
that travel
the way
of hopes.
My voice soars among
cup of
trees treating
to catch
the sleep
of old
Shaman
of my land.

Angel herido

Angel herido

The specters ...

The specter of the night have awoke
the snake with gold teeth,
huge a beast painted with the earthy

colors of fears deposited
among the folds of his skin, this beast
wanders through the arms
that embrace the wet bark of the oceans,
the snorting of his mouth covered our
geography with his radioactive breath.
The specter of the light is obscured from
the diffuse lines of the horizon, only
the lonely flight of birds trying
to dodge the smelly fingers of death
tell me the distance that separates me
to embrace the warmth of your heart.
The specter and I, saw how the evening
farewell with his dropping winds
amid the tears and sadness.

metralla,

se perdieron entre el follaje.

La verdades de ahora, solo arrastran

la desidia, el miedo y la mentira,

el que mire con ojos de condena

la salida del sol cada mañana

se le vaciarán las miradas dejando

solo las cuencas vacias.

Hay otras verdades al acecho

esperando que con el solo

contacto agridulce de tu piel,

desplieguen sus verdades

entre los primeros intentos

de la aurora, verdades dibujadas

en el resplandor de tu mirada,

de esperanzas navegando entre

el suave vaivén de tus caderas,

de sueños convertidos en realidades

de panes multiplicando el horizonte.

Hay otras verdades ocultas entre

el sortilegio de tus ojos pardos.

There are other truths ...

We must harden without ever losing tenderness. (Che Guevara)

There are other truths hidden between
the spell of your brown eyes,
truths of others quiet nightfall
of harmonious jump of the frogs
the arrhythmic dance of dragonflies
that dazed by the song of
the shrapnel
were lost among the foliage.
The truth from now, just drag
apathy, fear and lies,
who looks with eyes of condemnation
the sunrise each morning
will empty the look leaving
only the empty sockets.
There are other truths lurking
hoping that with the single
bittersweet touch of your skin
unfold their truths
among the first attempts
of dawn, truths drawn
in the glow of your eyes,
of hopes sailing between
the gentle sway of your hips,
of dreams turned into reality
of bread multiplying in the horizon.
There are other truths hidden between
the spell of your brown eyes .
