Quemados/ Burned.

El dolor
                        (El dolor)

Quemados.

Rodrigo Rojas de Negri
Carmen Gloria Quintana

Burned.

It was July when reason is becoming obsessive ...
schizoid, from there the wound bleeds powerful around
the memories, bleeds with the color of hatred of the mighty satraps
homeland soldiers disguised as warriors from Hollywood
come to the fore the regrets of the senseless death
the smiling men of hell walk through the halls of the mall
buying costume jewelry, trying on shoes,
complacent, forgotten in his memories, looking at the passersby,
gallant in his walk remembering the old martial steps
but shielded in the silence of their covenants in the circles of death.
The wound bleeds powerful in the memory of my people
the guardians protected by sinister sect and clan
They laugh to their country men immersed in the anguish of their pain
they drink daily in capsules of time the blood of his execution
they let it die out in a blaze abandoned
with the groans of the night,
we must use artisan keys to open the doors
that we let us see the step of the awaken truth
at the dawn of all.

Escribo con mi mano izquierda/ I write with my left hand.

He tratado de entender

I write with my left hand.

Scaping between pain

I can see the laughter and gestures

seditious of those-take-death

I try to run before

the shadows of the riflemen reach

spectra of those who do not die.

I have tried to understand

the looks

interrogation

force

torn from the walls

wet from the prison

the cries lurking

between the holes

paint crack by the strokes

of thee constant current

and the sweat exudes corner

with thousands of sorrows.

I want to write with the sunlight

write, write, write

until the fullness of my eyes,

giddy to have to empty your tears.

With the sign of our hands

weapons be silenced forever,

and bury at the edge

all of the eyelids,

then the drawings

ancestral, and dreams

they stop at the glaucous winters.

Algun día/ Someday.

El árbol de la vida

                              (El árbol de la vida)

Algún día.

Espero algún día entender

los ciclos de la luna

y el porqué de tu sonrisa

flotando entre los azahares.

Espero algún día entender

la ardiente humedad

de ese arroyo, difuso

en mi pasado,

y el porqué de tus reproches.

Espero algún día entender

el vuelo de las golondrinas

hacia ese lejano horizonte

y el porqué de las razones

incrustadas en tú corazón.

Espero algún día entender

el alfabeto oculto en la

corteza de los árboles,

y el porqué de tú mirada perdida

entre el plumaje de las aves.

Espero algún día entender

a los peces y sus movimientos

sigilosos entre los corales,

y el porque de tú pausa

cuando miras el sol.

Espero algún día entender

la distancia exacta entre

el cielo y la tierra

y el porqué de la

melancolía en tus ojos.

Espero algún día entender

donde nace el arcoiris

y el porqué la tibieza

de tú piel adormece

las flores del jardín.

Espero algún día comprender

el significado de las guerras

y el porqué de tus caricias

calmando el dolor de mis

recuerdos.

Espero algún día dilucidar

el significado de los

petroglifos en la falda de

aquel cerro,

y el porqué de tus pasos

bifurcando las sombras

de la casa.

Espero algún día descubrir

las tumbas perdidas de

mis compañeros,

y el porque tus cabellos

reflejan los atisbos del

crepúsculo.

Someday.

I hope someday understand

the cycles of the moon

and why your smile

floating among the blossoms.

I hope someday understand

the burning humidity

of that stream, diffuse

in my past,

and why your reproach.

I hope someday understand

the flight of the swallows

towards that distant horizon

and the reasons

embedded in your heart.

I hope someday understand

the hidden alphabet in the

bark of trees,

and why you look lost

between the plumage of birds.

I hope someday understand

the fish and their movements

stealthy among the corals,

and why you pause

when you look at the sun.

I hope someday understand

the exact distance between

heaven and earth

and why the

sadness in your eyes.

I hope someday understand

where the rainbow is born

and why the warmth

your skin numbs

the flowers garden.

I hope someday understand

the meaning of war

and why your touch

soothing the pain of my

memories.

I hope someday elucidate

the meaning of

the petroglyphs in the slope

of that that hill,

and why your steps

bifurcating the shadows

of the house.

I hope someday discover

the lost graves

of my comrades,

and why your hair

reflect the glimpses of

twilight.

Aditamento/ Attachment

                                                                          (El silencio)

Aditamento.

Sumergí el camino
detrás de mis ojos
de ahí pude
mirar mis sombras, ecos y recuerdos
enredados
entre gangrenas embrutecidas
a la tierra herida.

No pude entender el balance
del cuerpo luchando en ese espacio
constreñidos
por manos lejanas
y a veces por otras herramientas.

Las formas se alejan
perdiéndose en las horizontales
de las pestañas,
detrás de mis ojos
las figuras caían abatidas
por el fuego fatuo de las desesperanzas
colores anodinos
bisecaban los dolores
mordidos entre los recuerdos.

Los caminos de antaño
fueron transformados
otras construcciones
ocuparon esas tierras
cubículos simétricos
horadaban el espacio.

Con mis manos trate de asir
el transparente de los árboles
no fue posible
el vaho de la madrugada no lo permitió.

 Attachment.

I dipped the road
behind my eyes
hence I could
see my shadows, echoes and memories
tangled
between gangrene brutalized
to the wounded land.

I could not understand the balance
of the body fighting in that space
constrained
by far hands
and sometimes by other tools.

The shapes get away
lost in the horizontal
of the eyelashes,
behind my eyes
the figures fell dejected
by the  fatuous fire
of despair
bland colors
bisected the pains
bitten between memories.

The roads of yesteryear
were transformed
other buildings
occupied the land
with symmetrical cubicles
piercing the  space.

With my hands I try to grab
the transparent of the tree
It was not possible

the mist in the morning did not allow it.
