Mario Benedetti.

Mario Benedetti

Maestro.

Se nos fue el caballeroso

guerrero de las palabras,

tu partida tuvo

el milagro de detener

las contiendas por un segundo,

millones de ojos

dibujaron tus poemas en el infinito,

fuistes el leal compañero de las

luchas justas, solidario

con aquellos que cayeron

en las trincheras callejeras.

No nos queda tiempo

para las lágrimas

pero eso si…

nos dejas las

herramientas de tu voz

armas poderosas

con las cuales conquistaremos

lo simple de las cosas infinitas,

las formas primigenias

de nuestros sueños,

y la disposición para

enfrentar a aquellos que

se creen dueños del language.

Te haz transformado en el

condor majestuoso volando

los vientos, en el solemne

silencio de la cordillera,

Te haz transformado

en el puma del atardecer

que sigiloso custodia

el sueño de la Pachamama,

te haz transformado

en la serpiente emplumada

para ordenar el tiempo

navegarás nuestros ríos

para traernos la luz,

los colores y la recreación

de las quimeras.

Hasta la vista maestro.

Master.

He left us the gentlemanly
warrior of the words,
your departure had
the miracle of halting
the strives for a second,
million eyes
draw your poems in the infinity,
you were the loyal companion

of the just struggle, solidarity
to those who fell
in the street trenches.
We have no time
for tears
but that if ...
you leave us the
tools of your voice
powerful weapons
with which we conquer
the simple things of infinite
the primitive forms
of our dreams,
and the willingness to
confront those who
believe there are the owners

of the language

You transformed in
the majestic condor flying
the winds, in the solemn
silence of the mountains,
you transformed in
the puma of the sunset
that sneaky custody
the dream of the Pachamama
you transformed in
the feathered serpent
to order the time,
navigate our rivers
to bring the light
colors and recreation
of chimeras.

Hasta la vista maestro.

Nubes.

Nubes

Puertas destruidas.

Será que al despertar sentiré

el ritmo del sol acariciando

aquellas puertas destruidas por

esos tiempos de tormentas

y desolaciones,

que silenciosas en el avatar

de los hechos de la vida

han grabado en el mustio sabor

de la madera sus rasguños

el silencio del viento,

los llantos de las compañeras,

la patina de la lluvia,

las turgencias de la humedad.

Será que al despertar mis

miembros entumecidos

podrán girar a la voz de los

deseos para llevarme más

alla de los tiempos,

espero cruzar los umbrales

de la muerte que acicalada

espera con sus fauces abiertas

a los infortunados que aún

no han sido masacrados.

Las puertas destruidas

se mecen con el golpe seco

del viento que agazapado

trata de cubrir con la arena

los instrumentos de tortura,

las risas congelas por la sangre,

el eco del grito de socorro.

Espero que al despertar

podré ver los monumentos

de mis muertos.

Destroyed doors.

Will be that when I awake I feel
the rhythm of the sun caressing
those doors destroyed by
these times of storms
and desolation,
that silent in the avatar
of the facts of life
will recorded in the dull flavor
of the wood his scratches
the silence of the wind,
the cries of the compañeras,
the patina of rain,
the turgidity of the moisture.

Will be that when I awake
my numbs limbs
may turn to the voice of
wishes to take further
more to the times,
I hope to cross the threshold
of groomed the death that
waiting with their mouth wide open
the unfortunates who still
have not been massacred.

The destroyed doors
swaying with the dried knock
of the wind that crouching
try to fill with sand
the instruments of torture,
the laughter frozen by the blood,
the echo of the cry for help.

I hope that when I awake
I can see the monuments
of my deceased.

El Golpista

El golpista

Rostro.

Dejaré de pensar en tu rostro

que estuvo lleno de la risa

y de esas cosas que te dejaban

el suave sabor en las mañanas,

cuando lo veo, los recuerdos

saltan sobre mi piel dejando

pequeñas gotas de sangre.

Tu rostro me recuerda

el vuelo imperceptible

de los colibries entre

los dedos de mi mano,

el estampido de los caballos

con la línea de los recuerdos,

el golpe seco del hacha,

la lluvia que moja suave

las piedras del camino,

el sonido de las llaves,

la risa de los hijos.

Tu rostro se alza desde

las copas de los árboles

dejando una estela

de madera húmeda

para envolver las pasiones

que quedaron oscilando

entre la bruma y el océano.

Face.

I will stop thinking about your face
which was full of laughter
and those things will left you
the sweet taste in the morning
when I see it, the memories
jump on my skin, leaving
small drops of blood.

Your face reminds me
the imperceptible flight
of the hummingbird
among the fingers of my hand,
the stampede of horses
with the line of memories,
the dry blow of the ax,
the rain that gentle wets
the stones of the road,
the sound of the keys,
the laughter of children.

Your face raised from
the treetops
leaving a trail
of wet wood
that could wrap the passions
which were oscillating
between the fog and the ocean.

La golondrina

La golondrina (Etching grabado)

Tocar tus bordes.

El amor se toca con los bordes

de las piedras en un canto

de voces y deseos, de llantos

y risas que inundan las fronteras

del bosque donde por primera vez

alcance a divisar tu desnudez

entre el reflejo de una luna

que se resistía a dejar nuestro espacio,

ella, enigmática participó

de nuestras manos recorriendo

la superficie húmeda de nuestros

cuerpos.

Touching your sides.

Love is playing with the edges
of the rocks in a song
of voices and desires, tears
and laughter that flooding the borders
of the forest where for the first
time I saw your nakedness

between the reflections of the moon
who refused to leave our space,
she, enigmatic participated
with our hands down
the wet surface of our
bodies.

Love has left its mark on the fire
of your kisses, at that instance
you become the rage,
in the gale, on the ground breaking
by the blows of life
the endless rhythm of your hips
the steely brightness of your eyes,
bled by the cry in the night,
for your nails tear down the silence
of the desires hidden in the folds
of our dark skin.

Love hits the borders of reason,
drowned with howls of pain
visceral tear to sleep
of birds.
He scratches the open wounds
by the blow of the teeth
soaked in the saliva of the passions.
The phoenix hovers over
the clutter of the clothes.
You and I look at the news from 11pm
and we see the death taking everything.

Love is playing with the edges

of your body in the silence of the afternoon.

El Orisha

El Orisha

Dejar.

Al partir, dejaré mi cuerpo soltar
de sus ataduras todo el ropaje
todo en el parece que se pudre
este es el tiempo para amortajar

a nuestros mártires,
es el tiempo para blanquear
las murallas pues vendrán los seres
al pillaje en el clima más repudiable
todos tratan de escapar a sus miradas

inquisitoriales.

Let.

At depart, I let my body drop
their ties from all the dress,
everything appears that rots
this is the time to shrouds
our martyrs,
is the time to launder
the walls as people come
at looting in the most

abominable weather,
everyone tries to escape their
inquisitorial gaze.

Tomorrow I will leave my breaths
to exude skin, blood, hope
the epidermis of the earth still
prowling around my hopes,
I will let my predictions,
I will break the glass that surrounds
the breastplate of the murderers,
I will cry next to the clothing
of those that one day seized
the guts with the tip of the claws,
I will come from the heart of corn
to sacrifice the stars of the west
to bring peace to the hearts,
tranquility of the hopes,
The slow caress of the dreams
the birth of your eyes in the sea.

At depart, only will get tangled
in my hair the gentle wind
hitting the oranges tree,
the salty smell of fish,
the bold stroke of the drums,
the confinement of the guitar
in the eyes of the moon,
the soft the look of the birds
flying north,
the warm smile on your face.

Mi pueblo.

Mi pueblo

Bosquejo.

Se me ha ocurrido trazar

un dibujo entre los árboles

para unir los puntos

disueltos por las lluvias

y darle sentido a mi espíritu

perdido entre las guerras,

pretendo crear líneas

transversales y manos alcanzando

los rostros perdidos en viajes

sin regreso.

Será un bosquejo de elementos

esparcidos en los espacios,

cavernas remotas,

manos cansadas,

ojos avizores,

senos turgentes,

niños degollados,

caridades no cumplidas,

bombas de fragmentos,

sacerdotes voraces,

eucaristias de los torturados,

risas plenas.

Quiero recrear con los colores

sepia de mi vida el majestuoso

movimiento de las montañas

arrancando de las sombra

de la luna,

el sonido de los

grillos,

el aullido atroz

de las leonas en celo,

el arpegio de la arena

golpeando la playa.

Dibujar el entorno de tu cuerpo

para crear los instrumentos

de la vida.

Sketch.

I happened to trace
a drawing among the trees
to join the points
dissolved by the rain
and give a sense to my spirit
lost in between the wars,
I intend to create transverse

lines and hands reaching
the faces lost in travel
without no return.

It will be an outline of elements
scattered in the space,
remote caves,
tired hands,
to keep one’s eyes open,
turgid breasts,
children beheaded,
charities unfulfilled,
bomb of fragments,
predatory priests,
mass of the tortured,
full laughter.

I want to recreate with the colors
sepia from my life the majestic
movement of the mountains
pulling up from the shadow
of the moon,
the sound of
crickets,
appalling howl
of lions in heat,
the arpeggio of the sand
hitting the beach.

Draw the surrounding of your body
to create instruments
of life.

Naufragio.

Naufragio.

Naufragio.

Los ejes que equidistan

desde la frontera de tus ojos

a la ribera de los océanos

mecen las distancias

donde los navios se pierden

en el recorrido de la rosa

de los vientos.

Donde los marineros enredados

en sus cartas naúticas

y nocturlabios, no te divisan

por la bruma de sus mentes,

ellos se perdieron entre

las tormentas y el sargazo

navegando a la deriva

al momento aquel

que la memoria olvido

las cooerdenadas

del corazón.

Shipwreck.

The axes that equidistant
from the border of your eyes
to the banks of the oceans
swaying the distances
where the ships are lost
in the route of the rose
of the winds.
Where the sailors entangled
by their nautical charts
and nocturlabios,
they will not spot you
by the fog of their minds,
they get lost between
the storms and the sargasso
sailing adrift
at the moment when
the memory forget
the cooerdinate
from the heart.

Ilusiones.

Ilusiones

La venda en los ojos.

para Elena Varela

No basta ser,

decir la verdad

abrir la boca,

suspirar

incluso no pensar,

las manos voraces de

los hazmerreír de la justicia

saben como

hacerte hablar, no puedes

filmar, no puedes

mostrar lo que haces,

pues yo he hablado

del respeto a la ley

Y

por eso te condeno, no hables,

no quiero ver ese rictus

en tu cara de santa

ya te acusamos

¿Cómo eso

que la lucha de los indios

es correcta?

si estos roban, asesinan

y violan mi sagrado territorio,

tú no puedes decir nada

eres una mujer minúscula,

una terrorista.

En mi entorno, no te atrevas

te lanzaré a mis centuriones

te juro que te arrepentirás....

No basta ser,

decir la verdad

abrir la boca,

otras voces, Elena

bajan desde las profundas

riberas de los ríos

trayendo las vestiduras de la verdad

recién limpias con el golpe

de la arena,

desde las altas montañas

los dioses tutelares

recogen el clamor

el metal de las voces rugen
en el torrente trayendo
los instrumentos solidarios
de verdades muy antiguas.

No basta ser,
decir la verdad,
abrir la boca.

The bandage in the eyes.
for Elena Varela

Not be enough,
tell the truth
open the mouth,
sigh
not even thinking
the greedy hands of
the laughing stock of justice
know how
to let you speak, you can not
film, you can not
show what you do,
therefore I have spoken
of respect for the law
And
that why I condemn you, do not talk,
I do not want to see that sneer
in your face of saint
we will condemn you
How this
that the struggle of the Indians
is correct?
If they steal, kill
and violate my sacred territory,
you can not say anything
you're a tiny woman,
a terrorist.
In my environment, do not dare
I will trough my centurions
I swear that you will repent....

Not be enough,
tell the truth
open the mouth
other voices, Elena
come down from the deep
riverbanks
bringing the garment of the truth
newly clean with the hit
of the sand,
from the high mountains
the tutelary gods
collect the rumor
the metal roar of voices
bringing in the flood
instruments of solidarity
from ancient truths.

Not be enough,
tell the truth
open the mouth.

Las llaves de la ciudad.

Las llave de la ciudad

Se decidió.

El se decidió a viajar
a la guerra entre
lo que decían y los
que lo maldecían,
el buscaba la respuesta
correcta
pensaba que el sol alumbraba
tibio y suave para todos,
se sumergió en la arena
suave, cálida,
mientras, otros trataban
de cultivar la flor originaria
de su patria, entre risas
y el disimulo.

El se decidió a caminar
entre lo que decían
que eran balas que matan,
con su sonrisa miraba
los objetos en las feria
regateaba precios, pero la sangre
en su mancha universal
cubria la luna y el sol,
las noticias anuncian
“more troops deployed to Tibet”
el en su cadencia
miraba sin tristeza el rostro
de los niños,
“The troops in Irak only bring peace”
anuncian los prevaricadores
en los periódicos
the department itself detected
the instances of "imprudent curiosity,"
y asi construyen su nuevo presidente
entre mentiras y bromas.

It was decided.

He decided to travel the war

between those that said it

and those that curse

he look for the correct answer

he thought that the sun lit

warm and gentle to all,

he submerged in the sand soft, warm,

while others trait

to cultivate the flower

originates from their homeland,
between laughs and dissimulation.

He decided to walk between

what they said they were bullets that kill,

with her smile looked objects

in the exhibition barging prices,

but the blood universal in its spot

covered the moon and the sun,

news announce

"Deployed more troops to Tibet"

he in his cadence

looking without sadness the face

of children

"The troops in Iraq only bring peace"

advertise prevaricators in the newspapers, moreover

"The department itself detected t

he instances of imprudent curiosity,"

and build its new president

between lies and jokes.

La niña.

La niña

Otras tierras.

Quizás desde esas montañas

perdidas al sentido

podremos divisar otras

tierras que al desdoblarse

en las ansias de su espera

dejará entrar las voces

de nuestras luchas

dejando de lado

el amargo sabor de la muerte.

Ya el viento solo, no puede

levantar el tronar de rocas

chocando en los lejanos

acantilados, solo los hombres

llegados desde otro sueños

abandonados en las efímeradas

almohadas de los dictadores,

podrán revertir los pasos agotados

por los vaticinios de las Sibilas.

Quizás desde esas montañas

pálidas por el canto de rocio

se levante el cántico

de los pastores trayendo

los olores recién impresos

en sus ropajes,

y tus ojos abiertos

con el viento suave que baja

desde sus gargantas distinguirán

esos tonos verdes

recalcitrantes que invaden

los páramos aledaños.

Other lands.

Perhaps from those mountains
lost to the sense
we could see other
lands that at unfold
in the yearning of its expected
will leave to enter the voice
of our struggles
leaving aside
the bitter taste of death.
And the wind alone can not
lift the rock thunder
crashing into the distant
cliffs, only men
that came from other dreams
abandoned in the ephemeral
pillows of the dictators
may reverse the exhausted steps
by the predictions of the Sibyls.
Perhaps from those mountains
pale by the singing of the dew
will lifted the song
of shepherds bringing
freshly printed smells
in their clothing,
and your eyes open
with the light wind that comes down
from their throats will distinguish
these shades of stubborn
green invading
adjoining moorland.

La encrucijada

La encrucijada

Mi vida.

Podré algún día

entender el porque

mi vida se desparrama

entre las sinuosas curvas

de los ríos,

y

¿De cómo pude llegar

a mojar la esencia

de mi piel con los horrores?

Pero donde la mojé

me parece banal,

pues al querer dilucidar

esta equación

me he resbalado

en el óxido de las calles.

Deseo algún día

el paso cansino

de las sombras cubriendo

las copa de los árboles,

queriendo desembrollar

los viejos enigmas

dibujados en la alborada.

Más de la veces

he perdido parte de la vida

entre los trajines

y besos trasnochados,

persiguiendo con mis ojos

el paso de las aves migratorias

o tratando de alcanzar

la cúspide de mis razones.

My life.

I should someday
understand why
my life is scatters
between the sinuous curves
of rivers,
and how do I get
to dampen the essence
of my skin with
the horrors?
But where I wet it?
I find it banal,
therefore, when I want

to wish to clarify
this equation
I slid
in the oxide of the streets.
I wish someday understand
the tiresome steps
from the shadows covering
the crown of trees,
wanting disentangle
the old enigmas
drawn into the dawn.
More often than not
I lost a part of life
among to rush about
and watch over sleepless kisses,
pursuing with my eyes
the passage of migratory birds
or trying to reach
the top of my reasons.

Escalera

Escalera 2

Dejen que descansen.

Desde lo más hondo de las entrañas

una bestia descompuesta abre sus

fauces llenas de odio, revive los

dolores causados, no deja descansar

los corazones ateridos por el frio

de las inquinas.

Desde sus fauces sale a esparcir

el maloliente olor de las mentiras,

trata de revivir la pausada

cadencia de la muerte en la horas

interminables en sus antros de tortura,

esta cosa maligna no quiere restañar

la sangre que emana de los

corazones de madres, hijas,

quiere nuevamente fusilar

a esos que fusiló cien veces,

quiere volver a lanzar desde el inmenso

espacio azul los cuerpos mutilados,

es tiempo que los dejen, ellos son

nuestra piel sellada en el canto

de las esperanzas, sus nombres

van labrando los senderos

de todos los sueños.

Let them rest.

From the depths of the bowels
a beast opens its decomposed
fauces hateful, revives the
pain, do not let rest
the hearts frozen by the cold
of the ill will,
From his mouth comes to spreading
the stinking smell of lies,
tries to revive the slow
cadence of death in hours
endless in their dens of torture
this malign thing do not want staunch
the blood that flows from the
hearts of mothers, daughters,
they want to shoot again
those who shot a hundred times,
they want to launch from the immense
blue space bodies mutilated,
it's time to leave them alone, they are
our skin sealed in the song of hopes, their names
will carve the trails
of all dreams.

La muralla del odio.

La muralla del odio

Muralla.

Las uñas asperas de la noche
descascaráron la vieja
pintura que cubría
la vetusta muralla
donde cientos de miradas
día a día nunca dejaron
de percibir la impúdica luz
de las sombras clamando
por el perdón de los
que una vez fueron fusilados.
La pátina indeleble que
cubrió los crimenes
no quiso ser cómplice,
ya que cada cierto tiempo
los tonos exudados de la muerte
teñian las imperfeciones
iridiscente de su impronta.
los ojos de aquellos
que viajan a diario
nunca dejaron de prestar
atención a la parsimonía
de esos agujeros
que como crucigrama
y en un idioma hermético
indicaban los dolores
de aquella tarde,
entregando a cada uno
un mensaje lleno
de incógnitas.
Las aves ajenas
al dolor hacia tiempo
no detenían
su vuelo en las tejas
ajadas.
Pero la noche, ajena
borraba impertérrita
con la humedad de sus
lágrimas los ojos
aterrados.

Wall.

The rough nails of the night
shell the old
paint that cover
the old wall
where hundreds of eyes
day to day never left
perceive the lewd light of
the shadows crying out
for the forgiveness of
that once were shot.
The patina indelible
covered the crimes
did not want to be an accomplice,
because every so often
the shades exudates

of the death
had dye the iridescent
imperfections in its mark.
The eyes of those
who travel daily
never ceased to provide
attention to the parsimony
of these holes
that as crossword
and a hermetic language
indicating pain
of that afternoon,
delivered to each
a full message
of unknowns.

The birds strange
to the pain they did not stop
their flight in the whiter tile.
But the night outside
undaunted erased
with its moisture
of their tears
the terrified eyes.

las guerras de otros

Las guerras de otro

Los Bombardeos.

Entre los bombardeos y los lamentos

algunas aves lograron elevar su vuelo

llevando entre sus picos el sabor

metálico de la sangre salpicada,

los insectos despertaron

al estruendo voraz de las

máquinas de guerra, sembrando

el terror abrazador de la muerte

dejando en el horizonte

solo el mortífero dolor de

los llantos, los mensajes

bañados en la congoja

recorrian un mundo

impávido que sin sorpresas

en los ojos atinaba solo a decir

¿porqué?

¿porqué?

¿porqué?

Los pájaros del exterminio

cortaban el aire con su

onomatopeya del crimen

dejando proyectar su sombra

en las confundidas pupilas

de los niños,

mientras en el piso, el polvo

de las ruinas aún vivas

nublaban las lágrimas

de esas madres golpeadas

por la guadaña que tranquila

y asesina sesgaba los cuellos

infantiles.

Entre los bambardeos y los lamentos

yo trataba de descifrar

la maldad aviesa que dialoga

entre mamparas, trajes negros,

y licores añejos en las agonias

de las ideas.

The bombardment.

Among the cries and shelling
some birds were able to uplift their flight
bringing between their peak
the metal flavor from the blood spilled,
insects wake up with
the roar of the voracious
war machines, sowing
the embrace terror of death
leaving on the horizon
only the lethal pain
of the cries, the messages
bathed in the heartbreak
traveled the world
dauntless without surprises
in the eyes just to say
Why?
Why?
Why?
Birds of extermination
cut the air with his
onomatopoeia crime
leaving its shadow projected
in the eyes confused
of the children,
while on the floor, the dust
still alive from the ruins
cloud tears
of these mothers beaten
for the scythe that calm
killed biased the neck of the
children.
Among the cries and shelling
I tried to decipher
perverse evil that dialogue
among screens, black robes,
and mature spirits in the agonies
of the ideas.

Weichafe

Matías Catrileo

Weichafe.

para Matías Catrileo

Vemos entre las araucarias

las aves de las verdades,

los vientos trémulos

melodías lejanas

salidas de instrumentos

solidarios,

vemos tú imagen

galopando entre los

guillatunes,

el sonido cristalino de tu voz

se desliza entre los pastizales

clamando por la tierra arrebatada

por el pan robado día a día,

por el desamparo de los niños,

tus manos transformadas

en un minúsculo navio

transitan los suaves

escarceos del Imperial

llevando sin descanso el

mensaje de los justos.

Vemos entre las araucarias

el paso de los guerreros

tocando las suaves curvas

de tu frente, para ofrendarte

la nobleza de tu gente.

Weichafe.

for Matías Catrileo

We see between the pine
birds of truths,
tremulous winds,
distant melodies
playing instruments
of solidarity,
we see your picture
galloping between
the guillatunes,
the crystal-clear sound of your voice
slips between pastures
crying out for land seized
by the bread steal from day to day,
for the children neglected,
your hands transform
in a tiny ship
pass through soft
skirmishes at Imperial
taking without rest
the message of the righteous.
We see between the pine
the passage of the warriors
touching the gentle curves
of your forehead, to offering
the nobility of your people.

Muere

Muere

Let them rest.

From the depths of the bowels
a beast opens its decomposed
fauces hateful, revives the
pain, do not let rest
the hearts frozen by the cold
of the ill will,
From his mouth comes to spreading
the stinking smell of lies,
tries to revive the slow
cadence of death in hours
endless in their dens of torture
this malign thing do not want staunch
the blood that flows from the
hearts of mothers, daughters,
they want to shoot again
those who shot a hundred times,
they want to launch from the immense
blue space bodies mutilated,
it's time to leave them alone , they are
our skin sealed in the song

of hopes, their names
will carve the trails
of all dreams.

No más tortura

No más tortura

Un día más.

Es un día más donde el vacio
de las cosas en forma
atolondrada tratan de escapar
a los mortíferos sonidos
de la muerte que en vestiduras
de metal y su guadaña
reparte destrucción
a trochemoche.
Es un día más de aquellos
sueños requebrajados
por el rodar de los tanques,
incluso las flores trataban
de esquivar los sonidos
venidos

No more deaths.

No more unnecessary deaths, it sounds like a surreal petition against the daily events that are ravaging the world. But inevitably it seems that is our destiny try to exterminate one another, despite the universal cry of human beings, to stop genocide. But I think we should be stubborn and obstinate and call to the four cardinal points uniting our voices to try to create a presence that suggests two or three times before doing anything with violence to the government of the day. We must all those who work in different fields of art to stop the hands of those who diligently are ready to kill. I think this should be our goal in this New Year 2009.

Yo no he visto nada

No tengo.

No tengo una identificación

me he perdido entre

los recovecos del camino

las señales me confunden

trato de escapar al tedioso

ladridos de los perros

guardianes,

no se si volveré a recorrer

el oscuro polvo de esas

calles, sin poder

derramar una lágrima.

Estoy perdido por culpa

de los llantos,

de las desidias,

por los golpes dados

a mansalva,

perdi mi identidad

aquel día de las muertes,

no pude mantener

desde ahí he caminado

con mi corazón envuelto

con la venda de los miedos.

I do not have.

I don’t have an identification
I been lost between
the twists and turns of the road
the signals confused me
I try to escape to the tedious
barking of the guardians dogs,
I don’t know if I need to cover
the dust of those dark
streets without shed a tear.
I am lost because
the fault crying,
of idleness,
the blows given

at close range,
I lost my identity
that day of the deaths,
I could not keep
the distance by the heartbreak,
a shadow as heavy
a layer covers the steps
I have given in time yesterday.
My identity faded
between the dark walls
cries of alienation
by the pain of torture,
from there I walked
with my heart wrapped
with the blindfold of fear.

Yo no he visto nada

La tierra desgarrada

La tierra desgarrada

Eres joven.

-Hoy es Grecia-

Y la sangre sigue brotando

de un corazón generoso,

y no termina el exterminio

y no puedes ser joven

eres un peligro, hay una

bala que irá dirigida a tu

víscera en cualquier

momento.

-Ayer fue Chile-

Ellos no descansan, no quieren

tu presencia

en la plaza,

en la protesta,

en el mitin,

otros con euforia

te quieren confundir

te motejan de terrorista para

dispararte con

el fervor de un asesino

consumado.

-Mañana Bolivia-

no te quieren ver pensando,

pero ellos quieren

teñir la redondez del planeta

con el escarlata de tu savia.

-Años atrás Gran Bretaña-

Tú grito de protesta llena

de inquina el terror interior

de sus ríos recorriendo

las cavidades de sus rabias,

pero, ese tú grito hace

revolotear las hojas de otoño

recién caídas con el viento

suave y fresco de la montaña.

-Tal vez será Pakistan-

Pero la sangre seguirá brotando

de tu corazón romántico

y generoso, lleno de frenesí

y de amor.

You are young.

-Today is Greece-

And the blood continues to spring

from a generous heart,

and does not stop the extermination

and can no be young

you’re dangerous, there is

a bullet that will be directed

to your viscera at any moment.

-Yesterday was Chile-

They do not rest,

they do not want your presence

on the square,

in the protest,

at the rally,

others with euphoria

want to confuse you

they label you as terrorist

to shoot you with

the fervor of an accomplished

murder

-Tomorrow Bolivia-

They do not want

to see you thinking,

but they want

stain the roundness of the planet

with the scarlet of your lifeblood.

-Years ago Great Britain-

Your yell of protest filled

with dislike the inside terror

of their rivers traveling

the cavities of their anger,

but this yell, your yell

flutter the autumn leaves

freshly fallen with the wind,

soft, fresh from the mountain.

-Maybe will be Pakistan-

But the blood will continues to spring

from your romantic heart

generous and full of frenzy

and love.

Mis Monumentos

Vic
isitudes

me he alejado de las vicisitudes

para tratar de apartar esas sombras

que se dejan descolgar

entre mis recuerdos

y tus pasos silenciosos,

a veces el azul aterciopelado

del mar

me llena de congojas, y más

de una lágrima confusa

con los aconteceres se deja

asomar entre mi piel

ya fragmentada, tu figura

se parece a esos modelos

para desarmar dejados

de lado en la alacena,

reclamando con gritos

el volver a ser tomado

en cuenta.

me he alejado de las vicisitudes

a esos territorios lejanos

en el espacio inexistente,

desde ahi voy a redescubrir

los significados de las cosas

que fueron borrados

por las guerras pasadas,

me desespera no poder

resolver el porque tu corazón

deja de latir cuando sientes

el suave susurro de los ruiseñores.

me he alejado de las vicisitudes

desde que mi alma comenzo

a marchitarse una tarde cuando

el sol leve en su cadencia

me señaló el camino de la nada.

Vicissitude.

I have been away from the vicissitude
to try to remove these shadows
that will descent
between my memories
and your quieter footsteps,
sometimes the blue velvet
of the sea
get me full of grief, and more
of a tear confuse
with the happen will be left
a trace between my skin
fragmented already, your figure
looks like these models
left to disarm
aside in the closet,
demanding with cries
the return to be taken
into account.

I have been away from the vicissitude
to these remote territories
non-existent in space,
from there I will rediscover
the meanings of things
that were deleted
by past wars,
I get despair I could not resolve
the why of your heart
stop beating when feels
the gentle whisper of the nightingales.

I have been away from the vicissitude
since my soul began
to wilt when one afternoon
the mild sun in its cadence
pointed out the way of anything.

Te maté

Canto a Dilawar.

Dilawar, fuistes un hombre común
el palpitar de tu corazón
seguia la cadencia del
viento hululando en
las montañas,
tu piel rasgada por
el cuchillo de la
brisa que no descansa
en su danza en el silencio
de los que
viven sus vidas tranquila.

Salistes de Yakubi rumbo
a Khost,
tus manos guiaban el volante
de tu nave sorteando el terreno
abrupto y tus ojos
querias llevar a tu pequeña
tomada de la mano
a esos cuentos

Tus ojos transparentes miraban
a los celadores con bondad
para otras con rabia
te solicitaban todo lo
contrario a tu fe,
te golpeaban con descaro,
tus veintidos años sirvieron
para consolar la rabia de los
cancerberos.

Dilawar, fuistes un hombre común
te colgaron del techo en ese
siniestro lugar de encierro,
desde ahí el sufrimiento subió
por tus miembros entumecidos
hasta tocar el nudo del miedo
extraviado en el espacio,
La llegada de la noche te espantaba
pues traia en su oscuro
manto la brutalidad
de los mensajeros de la muerte
para doblegar tu conciencia
y destruir la desnudez de tu cuerpo.

Te convirtieron en el nuevo
Jesucristo clavado
en el emblema de tus torturadores,
y al cuarto día de los tormentos
tu cuerpo desmembrado, roto
agujereado se rindio a los perros
de presa y tu alma envuelta
en las suaves alas de las mariposas
emprendio el rumbo al paraiso
de tus sueños.

Desde aqui muchos pensamos
cual fue tu crimen,
para morir de esa manera,
muchos llevaremos tu nombre
grabado en el rincón más
sagrado de nuestras conciencias
Dilawar, fuistes un hombre común.
A song for Dilawar.
Dilawar, you were an ordinary man
the beating of your heart
followed the cadence of
the ululating wind
in the mountains,
your skin torn by
the knife of the breeze
that does not rest
in their dance in the silence
of those that live their quiet lives.
You go out course of Yakubi
to Khost,
your hands guide the wheel
of your ship circumventing the
abrupt ground and your eyes
will guide
the dreams that prowl
on your night
dreams traveling beyond
the mountains and taller than the clouds
dreaming flying in the wings
of reveries giant birds,
you wanted to bring your small one
taken by the hand
to these stories of princes and princesses.
Swift your taxi dodge
the dust that heals the skin.
Dilawar, you were an ordinary man
you step the entry
to history in a malicious betrayal
they let you know the hell
in this land,
they bend you with
the forces of lies.
Your body served as a meal
to the greedy shrew who did not leave
never peck on the silk of your skin.
Your eyes looked transparent
to the guards with kindness
but other time with angry
they asked everything
contrary to your faith,
they beat you with impudence,
Your twenty-two years served
to console the anger
of watchdog.
Dilawar, you were an ordinary man
they hung you from the ceiling in that
sinister place of confinement,
from there your suffering went up
to bring your numb members to a halt
until touch the knot of fear
lost in space
the arrival of the night horrified you
because brought in his dark
mantle brutality
of the messengers of death
to break your conscience
and destroy the nakedness of your body.
They transform you
in the new Jesus Christ nailed
to the emblem of your torturers,
in the fourth day of torment
your body dismembered, broken,
pierced, surrendered to the dogs
of prey and wrapped your soul
in the gentle wings of butterflies
embarked on course to paradise
of your dreams.
From here many think
which was your crime?
to die that way,
many will take your name
recorded in the sacred cornerof
our consciences
Dilawar, you were an ordinary man.

Mi ofrenda

Remembranzas.

repartidos.

Remembrances.

I don’t know what happen
with the golden sand
between the sun and water,
that slowly was losing the
memories of those days
of senseless deaths
waves that marked the riverbank
from the beaches with allegories
of life and in their daily liturgy
brings the flavor of your smoothness.

The beaches of my memories
sharp, with its polished
abrupt swinging, mothers
that nestled in its fund cold
the deformation of the body
thrown from infinity,
their dunes collected groans
of the seaweed mourn the pain
spread.

I don’t know what happen
with the sand
evaporating between the
thin fingers of the water,
she hid in the submarine world
frightened by
the terror of those days,
so far in my walks
on the beach I just feel
the distant echo of their voices.

Ave

You are my princess
(For my granddaughter Anais)

I will look in the almagest
that time when the roses
deprive themselves of the dream of dusts
to discover your name between the apathy of things
I will kiss your feet
in the thimbles of your eyes
I will write the feats of the hidden heroes of my mother country
I cried in silence
that day in which you were born
I reached to take firmly your father’s hand
still damp by the despair
I tell you that I want you with the same force as the ocean.
I will take to you in my stories to fly
in the meridians of the ends
we will visit the smoothness of hills
the smooth contour of the desert
I will undress your still small feet
to wet them in the torrent of the Aconcagua
I will let your wing dust the altar of my dreams.
You are my princess
with eyes jets
from your hair the poppies will hang
your little hands will be the obstacle of lies
I will live always in the color of your skin.

Mi patria

Esperanza.

Todos te miran con los ojos abiertos
rompistes el hielo del miedo
depositado en nuestros
corazones, miedo
cristalizado en las amenazas
de un terror de espada dispuesta
a trozar nuestras conciencias.

Son muchos los que apuestan
que serás capaz de torcerle el cuello
a la mula, que ya los centros
ambulantes de torturas serán castigados,
que Guantánamo solo es el
sueño terrible de la muerte, Bagran
solo es la recreación de un orgasmo
de noches de lujuria.

Nosotros, el mundo te pedimos
el respiro de un minuto, que dejes
que la muerte se aleje lo bastante
para mirarte a la cara, y decirte
que somos de carne y hueso,
nada más, eso, carne y hueso.

Todos te miran con los ojos abiertos
con dudas, con amor, reluctantes,
algunos pensando que los aperos
de la siembra son muy pesados
de arrastrar, otros que el anillo
es muy grande para tu dedo.

Espero que el sueño de los valles
del Getsemaní no esten manchados
de sangre.
Hope.
All, look you with open eyes
you break the ice of fear
deposited in our
hearts, fear
crystallize in a sword threats
of terror ready to cut
into pieces our consciences.
There are many who are betting
that you are able to twist the neck
of the mule, which centers
scatter of torture will be punished,
that Guantanamo is only the
dream of terrible death, Bagram
only is the recreation of an orgasm
of nights of lust.
We, the world asked to you
the breathing space of a minute, to leave
that death is removed enough
to look to the face and tell
we are flesh and blood,
nothing else, this flesh and bone.
All, look you with open eyes
with doubts, with love, reluctant,
some believe that the tools
of sowing are very heavy
to drag, others that the ring
is too big for your finger.
I hope that the dream of the Gethsemane’s valleys are not stained
with blood.
