The window.

From the open window

I hint the objects accumulated

in the dust of the table

telling old stories of love,

from the broken glass branches

of an old tree try to discern

the ants steps in the

crumpled walls holding

the patina of time

that has not stopped its path.

The cloth retains the drawing

of the crochet stitches,

but the sun's rays kidnapped

bringing it fabric color

to the regions of life.

The glass observed the spider

weaving the fabric that will wrap

the bottle of wine that never was poured.

There was someone waiting for the arrival

of the guests trace the mandala

announcing the arrival of that once

was a lone star

joint by birds that flying

from the farthest reaches of the earth

agreed together at that point.

Recuerdos.

Recuerdos

You can have a better tomorrow.

You can have a better tomorrow

where you can walk the streets

without regrets,

without the musty silence of those who

do not have.

You can have a better tomorrow

with fair wages, fraternal hands

and the endless chain of solidarity

of those who know the work

of the daily life.

You can have a better tomorrow

where the bountiful land deliver

their flavors to the table of all

where life open the floodgates

to flooding solidarity with laughter.

You can have a better tomorrow

with the gates of hearts

open to receive the joy nested

in the eyes of the children.

You can have a better tomorrow

where the libertarian song builds

the scaffold of hopes

and the garments will be the product

the advent of other suns.

You can have a better tomorrow

without the bitter grimace

that draws the walls

without the acid dew

which oxidizes the blinds.

levantársele y yo adoro a Chile, amo a mi patria desesperadamente

--debemos olvidarnos—

--no nos ayuda a la reconciliación—

Son 40 años donde la patria ha vivido

las congojas y zozobras de los dolores.

40 years.

"Telling the truth means to love their people and believe that you can still

rise up and I love Chile, I love my country desperately

as a mother agonizing.” (Vicente Huidobro, Patriotic Balance).

40 Years of living under uncertainty

of a justice elusive and frivolous,

40 years of pain stuck in the chest

does not let the morning bring hope

40 years of lies sweetened with words

that transfigure the landscape,

40 years of tombs never discovered,

the icy bodies resting

on the ocean floor

40 years of gangsters sitting in the seats

of parliament,

40 years marked with blood, derision,

lies, the disappeared.

40 years rebuilding our historical memory

with stories collected through all

corner of the country,

40 years in search of the truth of the treacherous

betrayal from ours emeritus armed forces

proud in the blood spilt

from his own brothers.

40 years of sprout to step of the blind

who proclaim to the four winds

- Yes this and step-

- we must forget-

- does not help us to reconciliation-

They are 40 years in which the country has experienced

the sorrows and anxieties of the pain.

Tiempo y espacio.

IMG_1404

Tiempo y espacio.

El tiempo y el espacio

buscan entre la luz

y el silencio

la tríptica conjugación

de esa tranquilidad que yace

solo en los corazones

de mis dioses ancestrales.

Un día salieron al azul infinito

encontrando tendida

entre una estrella y dos astros

una forma sagrada y silenciosa,

se acercaron sigilosos

contemplándola

se miraron a los ojos

profundamente

le pidieron su compañia

y después de mucho caminar

le preguntaron su nombre

y él con una mirada

plagada de luz

les dijo me llamo amor.

Time and space.

The time and space

seeking between light

and silence

the tryptic conjugation

of tranquility that lies

only in the hearts

of my ancestral gods.

A day out to blue infinity

they found lying

between a star and two

heavenly bodies

a holy and silent form,

stealthy approached

contemplating

looked into the eyes

deeply

asked for his company

and after a long walk

they ask his name

and he with a look

riddled with light

told them my name is love.

Le temps et l'espace.

Le temps et l'espace

recherche entre la lumière

et le silence

la conjugaison tryptique

de tranquillité qui se trouve

seulement dans les cœurs

de mes dieux ancestraux.

Une journée au bleu infini

retrouvé gisant

entre une étoile et deux étoiles

façon sainte et silencieuse,

furtif approché

contemplant

regardé dans les yeux

profondément

demandé son entreprise

et après une longue marche

lui demanda son nom

et lui avec un regard

criblé de lumière

Je leur ai dit appellent l'amour.

Mirta.

Mirta

Para Mirta.

(hermana entrañable)

Desde mi jardín has partido tú,

la tercera rosa, que volando

entre alerce, quillayes y araucarias

fue al encuentro del eterno retorno

de nuestro sueños, recuerdos

y de los inefables huasos a caballo

hechos del noble barro galopando

en el horizonte de nuestras miradas.

Te recuerdo

ensimismada mirando el vuelo

de las mariposas,

la mano de mi padre acariciando

tus cabellos,

hojeando libros con mensajes

de alegrias y esperanzas.

Al partir dejastes caer tus pétalos

en la humedad de la tierra

y el polén rojo de tu corazón

el viento lo dispersó

en el azul del cielo

llevándolos a los límites del infinito

Siempre te recordaré

danzando en el embaldosado

rojo de nuestro patio.

To Mirta.

(dear sister)

From my garden has left you,

the third rose, flying

between larch, Araucaria and quillayes

going to meet the eternal return

of our dreams, memories

the ineffable huasos riding horses

made with the noble clay galloping

on the horizon of our eyes.

I remember

engrossed watching the flight

of butterflies,

my father's hand stroking

your hair,

browsing books with messages

of joys and hopes.

When you left your petals fall

into the soil moisture

and the red pollen of your heart

the wind dispersed

in the blue sky

taking them to the limits of infinity.

I'll always remember you

dancing in the tiled

red on our patio.

He dedicado este poema a mi hermana Mirta recientemente fallecida en Santiago –Chile.

I dedicated this poem to my sister Mirta that passed away recently in Santiago-Chile.

Las murallas de nuestra

La vida.

La vida

La vida.

La vida descansa en el filo

de nuestros sueños

en el espacio y díalogo

de los corazones.

La vida descansa en la tríptica

mirada de la diosa

el vino

el pan

en el estero que baña

nuestras pasiones ajadas.

La vida descansa en el rayo

fugaz del sol posado

en la libertad de los girasoles.

Life.

Life rests on the edge
our dreams
in space and dialogue
of hearts.
Life lies in the tryptic
glance of the goddess
wine
bread
in the estuary that bath
our faded passions.
Life lies in the fleeting beam
of sun perched
on the freedom of sunflowers.

Vie.

La vie repose sur le bord
nos rêves
dans l'espace et le dialogue
des cœurs.
La vie réside dans le tryptique
regard de la déesse

nos passions disparu.
La vie se trouve dans le faisceau
dim éphémère perché
sur la liberté de tournesols.

Agujas.

.Aves migratorias

                                (Aves migratorias)

Agujas.

Con las áncoras de plata

de ese antiguo reloj

que cuelga en la pared

he de fabricar las agujas

que han de remendar

el raido tejido de mis

vestimentas,

que por décadas no

conocieron del mínimo

cuidado.

Aprovecharé de zurcir

el horizonte que se cae

a pedazos cada vez

que dejo de mirarlo,

y esa casa abandonada

que diviso en la distancia

la pintaré con los retazos

de los colores de la tarde

para cubrir partes de la muralla

gastados por el febríl

trajinar de sus moradores.

Y con el hilo de mi sangre

dibujaré en el espacio aun vacio

un círculo donde pondré los

objetos oníricos sacados

de mis desvarios.

Son objetos sencillos

que pasan inadvertidos

entre mis instrumentos

de trabajo.

Needles.

With the silver anchors
of that old clock
hanging on the wall
I have to make the needles
will have to patch
the threadbare fabric of my
clothing,
that for decades no
met the minimum
care.
I will darning
the horizon that falls
to pieces every time
I stop looking at it,
and the abandoned house
that I sight in the distance
I will paint with patches
of colors of the afternoon
to cover parts of the wall
worn-out by the feverish
bustle of its inhabitants.
And with the thread of my blood
I will draw in the space still empty
a circle where I put
the onirics objects removed
of my ramblings.
Simple objects
that go unnoticed
between my working

instruments.

Máscaras.

Juro que me las pondré

todas el día de mi muerte

para reirme de ustedes

bailaré acompañado

para visitar cada una

Copiosamente beberé

todos los vinos

y emborracharme,

volverme loco

y morirme cada vez

que me acueste con la muerte.

Masks.

I swear I'll put
all the day I die
to laugh at you
I’ll dance accompanied
with a charango
to visit each one
of your houses.
I’ll drink copiously
all wines
get drunk,
go crazy

And die each time
I sleep with death.

Masques.

Je jure que je vais mettre
tout le jour où je mourrai
à rire de vous
danser accompagnés
un charango
de visiter chaque

tous les vins
et bu,
devenir fou
et meurent plus en plus
Je dors avec la mort.

Hugo Chávez.

IMG_0819

Hugo Chávez.

Que paradoja Comandante

te has ido para quedarte entre

los pliegues de esta hermosa

y vapuleada geografía

las lágrimas derramadas las cogeremos

en sendos cántaros de barro

para limpiar la tanta sangre derramada.

Tú corazón parió una estrella

que se depositará en la gran bandera

bolivariana donde otras estrellas ya fulguran

Bolivar, Che Guevara, Villa, Zapata,

Hugo Chavez.

What a paradox Commander
you're gone to stay between
the folds of this beautiful
and battered geography
the tears shed we'll take
in individual clay pots
to clean the bloodshed.
Your heart bore a star
deposited with the great
Bolivarian banner where other stars gleam
Bolivar, Che Guevara, Villa, Zapata,
Sandino, Martí, Allende.
You dream of the great motherland
already entangled in the dawn
of our America to forge
on the anvil of destiny
steel of hopes.
Since birds
the blue from the south
the red from the north
the green from the west
the black from the east
have begun to braid with your hair
the swift sails
that will make this great ship
arrives at the solidarity port of dreams,
where the stocky arms of their
inhabitants built
the foundations of a titanic mother land of brothers.

all the wounds of my people.

Arrêter.

Arrêtez, pensez que vous pouvez
torture la mer
lier à la main
et accrocher dans votre maison
de la terreur,
Laissez-le tranquille
laisser propre
toutes les blessures de mon peuple.

Tengo mis manos.

Tengo mis manos

Tengo mis manos.

Tengo mis manos para amarte

y recordándote en silencio

pase por la puerta de tu casa

para comprender que al descansar

en el horizonte podría envolverte

con mi libertad.

I have my hands.

I have my hands to love you
and reminding you in silently
I pass through the door of your house
to understand that to rest
on the horizon I could wrap you
with my freedom.

J'ai mes mains.

J'ai mes mains à l'amour
et silencieusement rappelant
passer par la porte de votre maison
de comprendre que le reste
à l'horizon Je pourrait conclure
avec ma liberté.

Victor Jara.

Victor Jara 2

“…Ahi donde llega todo

y todo comienza

canto que ha sido valiente

siempre será canción nueva…”

                      Victor Jara

“Where everything comes

and it all begins

song that has been brave

always will be new song ...”

                    Victor Jara

Cuarenta huecos.

Los malhadados dedos del destino

sacaron sangrante tu corazón

lacerados por

cuarenta escupitajos,

cuarenta deneustos,

cuarenta mentiras,

cuarenta proyectiles

disparados por los mal

llamados valientes soldados

de una patria desgarrada.

Desde el espacio infinito

cuarenta ruiseñores

revolotean tocando

las aristas del tiempo,

su vuelo es un bólido

errático buscando las

respuestas a las cuarenta

heridas que nos cubren

en la larga noche de los odios.

Forty holes.

The ill-fated destiny of the fingers
took your bleeding heart
lacerated by
forty spitting,
forty insults,
forty lies,
forty missiles
fired by bad
called brave soldiers
from a torn homeland.
From the infinite space
forty nightingales
hover touching
the edges of time,
their flight is a fireball
searching the erratic
forty responses
that cover our wounds
in the long night of hatreds.

Fuistes

Fuistes

Fuistes.

Fuiste la corteza del pan

caminabas de regreso

a tu casa

sorpresivamente

te maniatan para viajar

interminablemente.

Fuistes la corteza del pan

te vejaron

se ensañaron contigo con

tortura salvaje.

You were.

You were the bread crust
walked back
to your home
surprisingly

tie your hand off to to travel
endlessly.
You were the bread crust
they harass you
enraged it out with
savage torture.

Aller.

Aller la croûte de pain
revint
à votre domicile
étonnement
attacher les mains de au voyage
à l'infini.
Aller la croûte de pain
je vexer
vous l'avez pris avec
tortures sauvages.

Basta ya, basta.

Basta de muertes

Mensaje

Dear companeros and friends as another year goes sad and once again stained with the blood of innocent children who have nothing to do with the violence that warlords imposed on us and as such we can name Connecticut, Beirut, Afghanistan, Syria, etc. What must do to stop the arms manufacturers who produce firearms and do not stop in front of the death of innocent children. What should we do? The only thing we can do is shout to the four winds our rage.

nuestras almas.

Enough, is enough.

The horror corrodes the elastic electricity through my body
I curse the air, the clouds, the noise of cars,
I feel only by the tragedy of children
that without knowing that the end of the day came in the form
cold and sinister of a bullet, they laugh innocent
between the colors hanging in their classrooms
that let them bring distant realms,
but hurt me other horrors that hang
from blue and ozone between dust and waste
bringing noise embedded in her womb bringing posts
of shredded flesh,
of blood escaping
in the arid soil,
of little eyes looking at the sky.
I'm going to insult the owners of death who manufacture
in their plants the bullets and missiles that pierce
innocent hearts.
fight hard to make the horror does not corrode
our souls.

Leonard Peltier

Leonard Peltier

Leonard Peltier.

Debe ser puesto en libertad.

Tal vez mi voz viene tarde

hermano

pero más vale tarde que nunca

tus manos deben volver

a tocar la tierra húmeda

para que puedan germinar

voces transformadas en flores

girando a los cuatro viento,

tus manos deben volver a dirigir

la harmoniosa danza de

las cosas que mueven

nuestro universo.

Debes volver a retomar

el sagrado vínculo de las

ceremonias de la vida

para que tu canto con la brisa

mueva las hojas sagradas

de los árboles ancestrales.

Tal vez mi voz viene tarde

hermano

pero más vale tarde que nunca.

Leonard Peltier

Must be free.

Perhaps my voice comes later
brother
but better late than never
Your hands should return
to touch the damp earth
so they can germinate
voices transformed into flowers
turning the four wind,
Your hands should redirect
the harmonious dance
of things that move
our universe.
You have to retake
the sacred bond of
life ceremonies
in order your song move

with the breeze
the sacred leaves
of the ancestral tree.
Perhaps my voice comes later
brother
but better late than never.

Mis penas.

Mis penas

se pierden

solas en el color

deseo que tu figura

magenta of the ocean
I want your figure

Corazón.

Corazón

Corazón.

Nuestras vidas se cruzaron

tejiendo mil tramas en todos

los confines de nuestros humanos

corazones

Heart.

Our lives intersected
weaving thousand frames in all
the confines of our human
hearts
have felt the joys with a
terrible overturning our breasts
but we felt
the bitter bile of hatred and anger
We loved with such
strange outbursts that life holds
to those that the heart opens
as window.

The king of birds.

In a distant forest the king of the birds
requested silence to commemorate
a year by the terrible massacre
of the butterflies,
and I went with him with my spirit
to stump the green of the leaves.

In issue # 56 August-September 2012 Journal of Hispanic Cultural. Directed by Mauricio Campos Salvadorean poet. It was published on its cover a photo with a mask of my authorship, and on page 5 a poem called Lie down. Anyone interested in the culture and literature in particular I recommend this magazine, it brings a beautiful presentation and full of daring content, including articles and poems in an excellent workmanship and above all we can know the poets and artists Greater Los Angeles (California) who work daily to give this city the shine it deserves.

Tender.

Voy a tenderme
en el tapiz de la tierra
con mi oido dispuesto
a escuchar los diálogos
profundos y ajenos
de esta madre voluptuosa,
terrible en su enojo, marina,
volcánica, telúrica
con sabores melodiosos.
Le besaré sus labios
y dejaré que lentamente
me cuente de sus penas
de sus congojas escondidas
arrastradas
por los manantiales rojos
recorriendo sus entrañas,
recogeré una escalera
para descender
entre los sedimentos
de sus pliegues y leer
los antiguos dibujos
de seres peregrinos absortos
en el pesar de sus
andares, y de sus marchas
entre trópicos y la aspereza
de los mares.
Voy a tenderme en el manto
níveo de los últimos ventisqueros
que se disuelven en llantos
de hollines, basura, y desperdicios
trataré de coger tus estaláctitas
para con ellas coser una a una
las estrellas en un manto
terso, puro, con el que te cobijaré
en las noches desoladas.
Cruzaré tus océanos,
en mi propia barca para poder
mojar mis sienes
y con un tridente de espuma
recoger la mazorca
profunda en tu seno,
me despojaré de mis vestiduras
para extender mis brazos
y dibujar en el horizonte
el velámen que nos a de llevar
a tú centro, pachamama.

Lie down.

I will lie
in the Skin of the Earth
with my willing ear
to hear the dialog
deep and other’s
from this voluptuous mother,
terrible in his anger, marine,
volcanic, telluric
with melodious flavors.
I will kiss her lips
and let slowly
tell me of her sorrows
their anguish hidden
entrained
by red springs
walking the bowels,
I will gather a ladder
to descend
between sediments
its folds and read
the ancient drawings
from strange beings absorbed
in spite of their
gait, and their marches
between tropics and roughness
of the seas.
I'll lie on the snowy mantle
from the last glaciers
that dissolved in tears
of soot, debris, and waste
try to catch your stalactites
to sow up with them to one to one
the stars in a blanket
smooth, pure, with which

I will cover you
at desolate night.
I'll cross your oceans,
in my own boat to
wetting my temples
and with a trident of foam
collect the cob
deep in your heart,
I will strip of my garments
to extend my arms
and draw on the horizon
the sails that carry us
to your center, Pachamama.

Rosas Negras.

Me acuerdo

de un ramo de rosas negras

que colgaban de un tronco

hanging from a tree
dead
to many years ago.

Marta Ugarte homenaje

Marta Ugarte

Marta Ugarte.

Marta Ugarte.

From the sea I felt the wind voracious
he had in his hands the pain of your body,
to spread his anger at the edge of madness,
this wind jaded by the rotten state
of things in the gorge of the Andes
loading the pain of many
that rest in the silent of the water.
all the stones on the neptunian bottom
lent the quiet stillness of your eyes
in order to draw between corals,
Sea horses and nautilus stole
the best of your life to tell it in the
nights when the stars penetrate
the mantle turquoise of the ocean, this
is the time when the marine world
lower their heads to learn the temperance
of your life.

nada,

creo que nada.

Ya comenzaron tus largos

insomnios

y cada vez más solo que nunca,

lento te has de deteriorar

ya arrastras tu cuerpo

con la pereza de los odios

ensueñas diferentes tipos de fuga

y tu voz tiene la cadencia seca

y agria de las piedras,

solo de tu corazón sale

el hilo indeleble de la vida

empapado con el miedo

de los terrores.

Not all the ravens are black.

Will the ravens cry?
maybe,
in the afternoon of sadness
And you Manuel, what do you feel
in moments of weakness?
nothing,
I think nothing.
You began your long
insomnia
and more and more alone than ever,
you've slowly deteriorate
and drag your body
with laziness of hatred
dream different types of jailbreak
and your voice had the dry cadence
and sour of the stones,
only from your heart get out
the thread of life indelible
drenched with the fear
of terrors.

In the month of memory.

This September 11 met thirty-nine years of the coup against Salvador Allende, marking this date one of the most devious betrayals from our "glorious armed forces" have committed against our people. Thirty nine years of ceaseless struggle to ascertain the whereabouts of all those who died in the sinister grip of the DINA. And slowly over the years have led to public places bloody covens and torture centers, where they tried to emulate and which were often more vicious than Hitler's armies.
It is our duty to maintain our historical memory alive because this way future generations will know the true extent of the tragedy suffered by the Chilean people and say that the other tragedies that have afflicted our country through different decades. And as a final goal is to avoid a repetition of such massacres and the armed forces are able to reassess any action involving the use of force and firearms. Well no forget nor forgive while remaining an unsolved crime in the fatal period of ignominy. A corollary would like to add a text taken from El Clarin de Chile and authored by Alvaro Cuadra and which reads: "For thirty-nine years we have witnessed the tragedy of a bloody dictatorship with its attendant bodies, tortured, disappeared, but also the farce of a democracy that has been unable to return, minimally, an ethical and civic within our society. The elucidation of many crimes against humanity committed on our soil is still a painful task ahead. The country has been led to amnesia, interested oblivion of his own wound. Oblivion is imposed everywhere when the guilty go free and unpunished.
Memory is abolished in every supermarket and every television program that enhances our uniformed figure, displaying the scenery tricolor of "taverns and ramadas" so crowd drunk on patriotism not remember the "concentration camps", the massive raids against populations, thousands tortured and disappeared. The TV shows the Mayor rehearsing steps from cueca (our national dance), forgetting that this man was uniformed security bodies of the dictator. Saying uncomfortable truths is not fashionable and not "politically correct", but it is essential to say them to new generations, the heirs of this country. "

Dos líneas.

Dos líneas

Dos líneas.

Deje que dos líneas

bajaran del firmamento

para tocar el espíritu

et ouvrir les yeux
à ce rêve.
