Darlas vuelta/ Turn them around.

Darlas vuelta.

Turn them around.

I am engaged in a meaningless task
with the sole objective that each
stone that I saw on my way
I turn it around to break its lethargy
in the silence of time
to be able to change his unarmed position,
can one to one so notice
that nothing is the same.

I have taken the stones one by one
that I found on the trails
with the clear idea of showing them,
those parts immersed in nothing, that nothing
they have been lost, I have stripped them
of the millenary mud that enveloped them
in that dark world of forgetfulness,
I have caressed them on their icy surface
I have spoken to you in simple language
from the earth inviting them to our dance.

I turn them into a formal exercise
to try to find the truth
lost among the entanglements of our quarrels,
I walk day by day among the gloom,
the flowers, the worn pavement, the silences
instinctively I try to change them
with a soft stroke of the shoe.

Redencion/ Redemption

Redemption.

The redemption of my sins has to vanish
between the mist of the waves and the wishes
from the heart,
I do not know how to balance these things so
full of earthly trifles,
maybe I'll have to do a deep act
of compunction, and walk barefoot
between the crowds.

There is a moment in the night,
when she, the night
I see it rip full of fear among the shadows
of an aurora borealis, and this happens
when I approach to ask
how could I redeem my sins,
I do not know, what should I do, I despair
thinking.
Maybe, I'll have to fall on the splint
of my thoughts and that the disquisitions
transform me into a sullen being,
or get rid of my outfits
to go back beyond the stars.

The redemption of my sins has to vanish
in the rattle of my intentions
and the dryness of my mouth, I know that everything
is in my favor because my body
He has decided to rest.

Son tus ojos/ Are your eyes.

Are your eyes.

Your eyes gravitate between the self and the universe,
when I stop and look at them
I see accumulated hatreds from its threshold
by the bad-mannered harangues and hands
trying to muzzle the value of the words
transformed into poetry.

Poetry flitting between sighs and flowers
drawing the joys of mornings,
words embracing hopes.

Your eyes gravitate between you and me,
feeling the cadences of the wind bringing
in its echo the anguish
of all senseless deaths,
of the holes in city windows
destroyed, in things that do not have
meaning, in the loves that never arrive
to an end.

Your eyes gravitate between the genuflections
of the clouds when escaping from the fingers
of the weather,
from that moment I have decided
the catch the halo of our mother.

Victor Jara, mas tarde que nunca/ Victor Jara,Later than never.

Apparently the murderers of Victor Jara our Song-Writer, will be brought finally to justice, we hope so.

Mas tarde que nunca.
Para Victor Jara.

Ya la luz disipa las tinieblas
agazapadas en las pupilas,
las que nunca fueron capaces
de dilucidar los terribles pasos
de la muerte caminando sin azoro,
los que con una sonrisa melodramática
negaron verdades

ladinamente pregona
Ni olvido, Ni perdón,
en nuestra historia nunca
debemos cerrar el episodio
de los corvos asesinos.

Later than never.
For Victor Jara.

Already the light dispels the darkness
crouched in the pupils,
those who were never able
to elucidate the terrible steps
of death walking without trouble,
those with a melodramatic smile
denied truths
those who closed the lattices,
mouth,
the eyes,
the hearts,
but only in the silence of all nights
They played the chords of other avenues.

In the underground walls
the beat of the guitars
they let slip the sweat of terrors
the nights closed their eyes in front
to the rage,
but the cry of our people
slyly proclaims
Neither forgetting, Nor forgiveness,
in our history never
we must close the episode
of the murderous corvo.

Emmet Till

Emmett Louis Till.

Ahora quieren unir tu cuerpo
con el pegamento hediondo de la justicia,
el tiempo a pasado, desde la orilla
de tus ojos veo el manantial
de nuestras luchas.

Tenías catorce años,
solo por mirar
con tu piel negra
o que tu voz se alzara,
con tu piel negra
o el sonido del viento
con tu piel negra,
o el movimiento de las hojas
con tu piel negra
ya con eso sobre tus hombros
fuiste acusado por el susurro sibilino
de pequeñas serpientes envenenadas
embelesadas en la amargura
de los odios por la piel.

Emmett Louis Till
no pueden ahogar  la verdad.

Emmett Louis Till.

They can not bury the truth.

Why did they kill you?
the birds ask on flush flight
between a white sky,
through the roofs of Money, Mississippi,
mothers mourn at night
torrid, next to the waters of Tallahatchie,
it was the sharp, sharp conclusive lie
of thirsty tongues in hatred
wrapped you in barbed wire.

Under the bridges, on the banks of the rivers
propitious space to search our destinations,
they found you broken and your face asking
Why?

Now they want to unite your body
with the smelly glue of justice,
the time past, from the shore
from your eyes I see the spring
of our struggles.

You were fourteen years old,
just by looking
with your black skin
or that your voice will rise,
with your black skin
or the sound of the wind
with your black skin,
or the movement of the leaves
with your black skin
already with that on your shoulders
you were accused by the sibylline whisper
of small poisoned snakes
spellbound in the bitterness
of hatreds through the skin.

Emmett Louis Till
they can not drown the truth.

Son cosas/ They are things.

material primigenio,
algún día, podré cubrir con nuestras
epidermis las heridas profundas.

Todo al pasar,
quedan nuestras huellas a veces,
indelebles con el sonido limpio
de nuestras voces,
nuestras fuerzas envolviendo
cada aurora,
nuestros sueños en la impronta
de los árboles,
nuestras pieles circundando
los límites de nuestras verdades.

Todo al pasar,
son cosas minúsculas regurgitando
las certezas en mis pupilas.

They are things.

All in passing,
we can say the most beautiful things
while your eyes reverberate when sprinkled
the light of the morning,
and through your fingers the clay slides
the primitive material,
one day, I can cover with our
epidermis the deep wounds.

All in passing,
our prints are left sometimes,
indelible with the clean sound
of our voices,
our forces wrapping
each aurora,
our dreams in the imprint
of the trees,
our skins circling
the limits of our truths.

All in passing,
they are tiny things regurgitating
the certainties in my pupils.

Nuestra primavera./Our spring.

Cristo de Lonquen.

Nuestra primavera.

La flor de la vida
suavemente a comenzado

Te quiero, no te conozco aún

Our spring.

The flower of life
gently started
to stretch its petals
to open
in all its wonder.

I would like to inside the air spin
your blood and be able to touch you on the edge of your consciousness
forgive me for respecting your skin
but I believe in your truth
yours
still open to the wound of chores.

I love you, I do not know you yet
I think we'll see each other in the eye, we'll play
to the blind little chiken
to the egg seller.

I love you in the immensity of the thousands of eyes
they look at me.

I want to dance with you the longest cuecas
and be able to have your hand with mine in
the immensity of the hugs.

You are coming with your flag raised
and in your eyes the spring of my heart shines.

I love you now, yesterday and all the minutes
delayed by the flights of the birds
forever and ever.

Ya mi voz no es capaz.Already my voice is not capable.

Rostros Imprecisos #20 Inaccurate faces #20.

Already my voice is not capable.

I consider that my voice has not been able to overcome
the horrible rumble of war, only my ears
they listen to the cries of the butterflies that try
to fly away from the morass.

My hands cover the eyes so as not to show
the horrendous scenes of death descending
from the hollow screen of the television,
only the innocuous voice of the announcer hits
the paintings hanging from my four walls.

Outside, my voice is not able to stop
the dryness of the cracked earth
the blow of the wind makes
the leaves that fall unshelled.

The words just leave my mouth
I do not know if I can ask for help to lift
the few belongings that have fallen to me
on the side of the road, and my voice does not give me
to be able to scream
the injustices committed against my people.

Already my last breaths do not allow me
that my voice describes the fall of the leaves,
or how your hands picked up the water
to wet your lips already split

Si, hay veces./Yes, there are times.

          Rostros imprecisos #19 / Inaccurates faces #19.

Yes, there are times.

Yes, there are times that I like to write things in passing,
I try to describe the color of the moon when
this surprises me on my way to throwing away the garbage,
other times, seeing the wounded paths.
or the smell of feces from stray dogs,
Of course, yes, sometimes I try to decipher
the colors of the clothes of the passers-by,
that dress in the gray of the afternoon, of sadness
of Sundays, of the colors of the sand,
of the melancholic litany of the masses.

Yes, there are times that I like to write things in passing,
I try to understand the taste for indiscreet questions,
or speaking nonsense things of the absent,
lost in the distance of distant countries,
There are times I would like to understand the ancient smell
of the churches lost in the city, or the
palpitate slowly from the diners,
or the furtive looks of passers-by.

Me quedo / I stay.

           Rostros imprecisos #18 /Inaccuratre faces #18.

Me quedo.

 I stay.

I stay left with the reflection of your figure in the mist,
of your silhouette drawn in the shadows of the afternoon
of your eyes blurred with the color of the leaves,
of your fingers trying to pick up the tracks
of clouds covering those moldy roofs,
sometimes I'm stupefied when the flight
of the birds are lost in the murmur
of the crowds asking for justice,
or the gaunt steps of our elders
wrapped in their dreams of times gone by.

I stay floating among the trembling of your lips,
and in turn the diaphanous tulle that covers your skin
he was able to unravel the mysteries
drawn on the majestic walls
of our temple.

Desde lo alto /From above.

                    Rostros Imprecisos #17 / Inaccurates faces # 17.

  From above.

From above you can see the fractured borders
the sea resting from its eternal sway,
the rainbow breaking the perfection of its colors,
your eyes lost among the wings of the hummingbirds
and the endless flicker of the fish.

From above the birds hear the whispers
of old tragedies that the wind brings,
only sometimes the clouds are able to discern
the winks of your eyes when the sun is visible.

From above the Sequoia sempervirens
monitored the outcome between day and night
their watchful sentinel glances scan the space
warning the arrival of those strange objects
who regurgitate in their womb the metals of death.

From above, your proud figure raises his arms
looking with his dance the subtle smiles
of those who have escaped the torments,
only the course of the days are capable
to staunch the deep wounds that sail

in your face.

Rspuestas / Answers

Rostros imprecisos #16/ Inaccurate faces #16.

Respuestas.

Answers.

Hope nests between the folds
of your face looking for the answer
to the silences and accumulated lies
under the old rugs of those aged
constructions where hate stabbed
the naked backs of its inhabitants.

The astonished faces searched
in the fright and pain
the answers to the cry of horrors
hidden in the dark mantle of the night,
in the accomplice movement and accurate
of the miseries scattered
between those palms of treacherous hands.

Hopes are nestled in the clouds
that announce the arrival of the first rains,
of limpid waters able to erase the sketches
of death, tears and tears
drowned in the stained bed sheet

with the dark color of fear.

Todo lo que nos ha pasado./ Everything that has happened to us.

                            Sirena a caballo.

Everything that has happened to us.

Everything that has happened to us
with our eyes open
lost between empty pages
of newspapers
abandoned on the sidewalk,
the thread of the web engulfs us
with the cheating toxin of fraud
the mornings will be wet
by the rusty waters, your faces
will stain with the fallacy of those lies
bathed in sewage.
The walls will be built
With the waste of the marginalized
With the ancient tortures,
With the theft of uncertainties
of our peoples,
wall that will sink the world
between our feet.

Everything that has happened to us
we see, unbelieving the fading
of auroras, we begin
the long journey through hell
charged with nightmares
and regrets of our peers.
I will go out into the streets,
once more screaming
the return of victories.

languidece /Languishes.

los ritos de la razon.
"Los reflejos"

Languidece.

Todo languidece bajo los soles
solo tu rostro emerge puro
entre los pliegues de la montaña,
mientras la muerte con sus garras
asquerosa, putrefacta repta
las ondulaciones del paisaje
apoderándose de las aristas
de los corazones
arrastrando a su paso el manto
del silencio dejando los caminos
cubiertos del olor metálico
de la sangre mal derramada.

Languidecen las estrellas
con el eco de las guerras
que desgarran la mirada
mística de la madre tierra
uno a uno los árboles
vuelan destrozados,
la arena se calcina con el terror,
los edificios cobran formas
fantasmales con el fuego
abrasador de la metralla,
de cada ventana calcinada
escapan las preguntas manchadas
con las lágrimas…
¿Por qué?
¿Por qué?
¿Por qué?

Languishes.

All languishes under the sun
only your face pure emerge
between the folds of the mountains,
while death with filthy claws,
rotten creeps
the undulations of the landscape
seizing the edges of the hearts
has ravaged the mantle
leaving the paths of silence
covered the metallic smell
the blood bad spilled.

Languish  the stars
with the echo of the wars
that tear the eyes
of the mystical Mother Earth
one by one the trees
flying shattered,
the sand is calcined with terror,
the buildings take ghostly forms
with the  burning fire
of the shrapnel,
from each window calcined
scape the questions
stained with tears ...
Why?
Why?
Why?
