Hoy por fin./Today at last.

Hoy por fin.

Hoy por fin,

el nuevo camino de los sueños

rompe la bruma de las muertes

y las heladas bayonetas,

y las miradas de aquellos que prevarican,

hemos vivido lo tenebroso,

las ergástulas, lo siniestro de los misterios,

el dolor de las cuencas vacias.

Hoy por fin,

los soles de nuestros dioses

abren la alegría de sus ojos

roturando el sabor dulce

de la tierra desde donde

nuestros hermanos escribirán

con sus sueños los códices

que regirán el destino de los justos.

Hoy por fin,

nuestros pueblos podran mirar

el futuro con la hidalguía

generosa de su gente

inscrustada en la frente,

con el canelo purificando

el torrente de las aguas,

mostrando sus corazones

con el orgullo digno

y estrecharse las manos

en un saludo fraterno.

Hoy por fin,

el despertar de nuestros compañeros

cada mañana estará lleno

de los sueños construidos,

de los cantos que hablan

de amor, justicia y parabienes

de ojos contemplando

un futuro de esperanzas.

Today at last.

Today finally
the new path of dreams
break the haze of deaths
and the icy bayonets,
and the looks of those who prevaricate,
we have lived the dark,
the slaves´pit, the sinister of the mysteries,
the pain of empty sockets.

Today finally
the suns of our gods
open the joy of their eyes
breaking the sweet taste
of the earth from where
our brothers will write
with their dreams the codices
who will rule the destiny of the righteous.

Today finally
our peoples will be able to look
the future with the nobility
generous of its people
embedded in the forehead,
with the cinnamon purifying
the torrent of waters,
showing their hearts
with worthy pride
and shake hands
in a fraternal greeting.

Today finally
the awakening of our companions
every morning will be full
of dreams built,
of the songs that speak
of love, justice and congratulations
of eyes contemplating
a future of hope.

Felicidad, ¿que es?/Happiness, what it is?.

Happiness, what it is?.

I don't know what happiness is

maybe the sad voice of the fish

in his confinement, or

the awakening of butterflies

in an afternoon of nostalgia.

It may be ... that the night

is able to touch the skin of the moon,

or your eyes elucidate the unknowns

of the crying,

Other times it might be to pick up

a stone, or see your figure touched

by the gleams of a moon

sad, everlasting in her crying.

I don't know, it could be so many things,

the imperceptible noise of the fog.

It could be the soft noise of the drops

of water falling between light and shadow.

Or your voice alerting the tangle of

fireflies,

or is it the sunset breaking

the silhouette of dreams,

it could be to remove a splinter

of the fingers,

or just raising a glass

with a wine from the land.

Other times in my madness I think I see

the beating of your heart,

what could be happiness,

feel your voice calming

the advent of concerns,

or your body cutting

the vicissitudes of exile.

For me it is the way of my children

sculpted in metamorphosis

of my mountains,

in the design of my colleagues

etched in the ancient sands.

Sometimes I think happiness

is to have found you

in the tumult of ideas.

And loving you is happiness.

Las luces./Lights.

Las luces.

Es así, cuando las luces todavía

no se dejan vislumbrar entre

el ruido pertinaz, ya las voces

de los conspiradores recorren

las calles, con sus viejos pregones

llevando la muerte como

emblema en sus lenguas,

los árboles tratan de cubrir

los pasos de los que son buscados

no quieren prolongar las agonías,

no quieren las zozobras arrastradas

en el silencio lúgubre de las mazmorras.

Es así, en un día cualquiera

las huestes oscuras de la infamia

se descuelgan entre las tinieblas,

no descansan se estrenan

día a día, juegan a la muerte,

la persiguen en los patios aledaños,

entre las cornizas carcomidas

de sus barracas, muestran flamantes

armas recién sacadas de los navios

venidos del norte,

usan oscuros libretos que inculcan

los libretos absoluto de la tortura.

Es así, su teatro cuenta capítulos

repetidos de asonadas militares,

de contubernios apócrifos,

de desaparecidos, de festines

celebrando símbolos fácticos

de bancos fantasmas, emblemas

socrosantos, frailes pederestas,

malos representantes de los pueblos

coludidos con la sangre

mamadores de la democracía.

Lights.

It's like this, when the lights still

they are not allowed to glimpse between

the persistent noise, and the voices

of conspirators roam

the streets, with their old cries

carrying death like

emblem in their tongues,

the trees try to cover

the steps of those who are wanted

they do not want to prolong the agonies,

they do not want the worries washed away

in the gloomy silence of the dungeons.

It's like that, on any given day

the dark hosts of infamy

they hang down in the darkness,

they do not rest they premiere

day by day, they play death,

they chase her in the surrounding courtyards,

between the eaten cornices

from their barracks, they show brand new

weapons fresh off the ships

come from the north,

they use dark scripts that instill

the absolute librettos of torture.

It is like that, his theater counts chapters

repeated military riots,

of apocryphal collusions,

of disappeared, of feasts

celebrating factual symbols

of ghost banks, emblems

Socrosaints, Pederast friars,

bad representatives of the peoples

colluded with blood

suckers of democracy.

trayendo manos fraternas y esas herramientas

The horizon stretched.

The horizon broke the tranquility of its line

I let out the colors of the rainbow

staining the faces of men, women, children,

the rivers filled their channels with laughter,

with voices crying out those truths

hidden among misery, lies.

The horizon dropped out of the blue space

bringing brotherly hands and those tools

elementals to open furrows in our land

withered and parched, to sow love

lost in the time of deception

in the dark time of looting.

The horizon opened its eyes illuminating

the hidden paths where years

shamelessness accumulated its hatreds and miseries

where threats were disguised as flattery,

the puppeteers wrote regulations condoning

the looting and the deaths, hitting backs

with his fingers stained in ancient blood.

The horizon raises the banners with dignity

calling for the construction of other roads

that will lead us to supportive arms,

to those monumental youths who broke

the brotherhood of tricks, fears, and fraud.

Las alas del hastío./The wings of boredom.

The wings of boredom.

The wings of boredom,

lead us to the vortex of nowhere

to the limit where the flowers die undone

by the blows of the wind,

where the keepers slaughter the hubbub.

The wings of boredom,

flush drives away the shadows of the birds,

they cover the space with the melancholy of the clouds

they make turbid the requests of those who do not have,

they don't let the avenues open.

The wings of boredom,

dark cover the silence of the lights,

they annihilate the hopes of those who fight,

covers the eyes with the sinister cloth of oblivion,

the wrinkles of time transform geography.

 The wings of boredom,

they muddy the springs with oblivion,

they blur dreams with the drugs of laziness,

dry our throats with the magic of lies,

the trivial verbiage of the makers of lies

flood the streets with your miasmas.

 The wings of boredom,

reverberate the ghosts of yesterday that they sowed

our landscape with the pale shadow of death,

with wearisome steps they lead us to the paths of nowhere,

to the forgotten spaces of reminiscences,

to the rusty skins that were abandoned,

to the hands chapped with the mordant cement.

The wings of boredom,

they wrap ours with the redress

of those with upturned noses,

covered with the dark cloak of impudence

solidarity hands at the villagers' dinner.

Nuestros son los ojos./Ours are the eyes.

Ours are the eyes.

"Until dignity becomes customary"

Our eyes cannot bear as others defenestrates

those who raise their voices between pain and hunger

those that hide the sun with empty sockets

with swords embossed between stones and blood,

those eyes that torn out with rage and hatred

are drawn on the trunks of the trees,

on old walls with their old lime skates,

on the rickety posts of my block,

in partitions of abandoned houses,

between the eternal cobblestones of your street.

Eyes embedded in the skin of those who fight,

eyes pointing out crime to the underdog,

eyes traced on the old fences of my town

eyes gravitating in squares, parks

filling the air with flags crying out for dignity.

Ours are the eyes engraved on the slogans,

in the proclamations, in the sudden cry of the settlers,

those eyes that fly from dream to dream

they shake us from the idleness and the enthroned lie,

they shake us from the sleepy gibberish,

of the lost voices lost in the oasis,

are the raw eyes of those who walk

stumbling in the streets of silence.

Esperando la llegada./Waiting for the arrival.

Esperando la llegada.

Miremos a nuestro interior

con los ojos de las esperanzas,

esperando la llegada de otros

mañanas henchidos de los sueños

construidos entre gritos y algarabías,

miremos la inmensidad de los océanos,

la señorialidad de la cordillera,

el poder omnipotente del Ngnechen,

la fuerza de las sangres derramadas,

la mirada avizora de las madres,

el andar gallardo de nuestros padres.

Miremos a nuestro interior

henchidos con el canto vivificante

de los poetas de la tierra,

con las palmas abiertas

de nuestro desierto pródigo,

con el bullicio de los niños

con las energías de nuestros

dioses tutelares,

Miremos a nuestro interior

igual que al agua fluyendo

a borbotones de los ventisqueros,

igual que a nuestras manos

acariciando las aristas de las ilusiones,

o la voz vibrante de los ecos.

Waiting for the arrival.

Let's look inside

with the eyes of hopes,

waiting for the arrival of others

mornings full of dreams

built between shouts and hubbub,

let's look at the vastness of the oceans,

the lordship of the mountain range,

the omnipotent power of the Ngnechen,

the strength of the spilled blood,

the watchful gaze of mothers,

the gallant walk of our parents.

Let's look inside

swollen with life-giving song

of the poets of the earth,

with open palms

of our prodigal desert,

with the bustle of children

with the energies of our

tutelary gods,

with the sounds of the earth

breaking the monotony of the day,

with the grass dance in the field.

Let's fear inside

just like flowing water

gushing from the snowdrifts,

just like our hands

caressing the edges of illusions,

or the vibrating voice of echoes.
