El vientre

El vientre

El premio y la muerte.

Envuelto en la nobleza

de la paz como su premio,

tranquilo, inmutable

con una leve sonrisa de alivio,

complaciente baja en un golpe certero

su dedo índice

da la partida a las máquinas sofisticadas

dirigidas por la muerte envueltas

en el paño mortecino de los dolores.

Solo desde los cuartos en llama se

dejan sentir ruidos lejanos a su alcurnia

y su voz engolada con la enjundia

rebotan entre las mamparas y luces

diciendo:

"América nunca ha luchado contra una democracia"

mentira peregrina con ruidos de zozobras,

lágrimas de rabia y el olor a óxidos

antiguos de la sangre fresca pintando

las vetustas murallas que

corren por las venas heridas de America Latina

tendiendo la mano solidaria a los habitantes

del Magreb que con los corazones

destruidos por las balas levantan

la voz entre la arena y el viento

pidiendo misericordia.

The award and death.

Wrapped in the nobility
of peace as a prize,
tranquil, unchanging
with a slight smile of relief,
complacent point down in a single blow
his index finger
giving the start to those sophisticated machines
led by the death wrapped
in the dull cloth of the pain.
Only from the rooms in flame
the noise felt far from their lineage
and pompous voice with substance
bouncing off the screens and lights
saying
"America has never fought against democracy"
strange lies with the sounds of anxieties,
tears of rage and the smell of antique oxide
painting with fresh blood
the venerable walls
that run through the wounds veins of Latin America
outstretched hand of solidarity to the people
of Maghreb that with the hearts
destroyed by the bullets
raised their voice in the sand and wind

asking for mercy.
