Mitos

Mitos

My myths.

I live attached to the land,
I get her dreams,
the roots nourish me
from those trees that during the night
deliver their oneiric cargo,
with the mystic rain of the stars
I wash the feet of the wounded soldiers,
I live attached to the motherly river sediments
that delivered me the clay
with that I build my tools.
I go from the hand of the gods
leaving with each step my sweet verse
nurtured in the pure water of springs,
with my spade hit the ground to
leave the seeds from which my children
simply reap the fruits of the earth.
With pieces of burned wood I trace my drawings
on the smooth surface of the oceans
and the forms will feed the fish,
I turn my eyes to the birth of horizon
from where my parents came by
the road of dawn.
