Se escapa la vida.

 

Gaza.

GAZA.

 

Se escapa la vida.

Trasciende el aire cortando

los cuerpos como el golpe

seco del hacha

el grito desgarrado de una mujer

se escucha entre el polvo

y el estruendo de los misiles estallando

mientras, seres desvalidos, pequeños

con rostros inocentes son triturados

entre los colmillos de acero

de los instrumentos que sesgan la vida.

Mis espacios se transforman

en objetos mustios, ocres

donde el aire envuelto

en el manto del miedo

ya no transita,

veo algunas aves de rapiña

merodean tratando de burlar a la muerte,

el silencio se viste de lágrimas, llantos,

para cubrir las ruinas con la tenue seda

tratando de desvanecer la danza macabra

de los terror que otros producen.

En lontananza alcanzo a ver

una muralla acompasado

con el sincopado tableteo de la metralla

con ventanas incólumes

pero con los ojos vacíos

presenciando el desangramiento

de las cosas que le dan forma a la vida.

 

Life escapes.

The air transcends cutting
bodies like the dry blow
of and ax
the cry of a woman
is heard in between the dust
and the sound of exploding missiles
while, helpless beings, small
with innocent faces are crushed
between steel fangs
instruments that cut on the bias life.
My spaces are transformed
in objects withered, ocher
where the air wrapped
in the mantle of fear
no longer passes,
I see some raptors
prowl trying to cheat death,
silence wears tears, crying,
to cover the ruins in the weak silk
trying to dispel the macabre dance
of terror that others produce.
In the distance I can see
one measured wall
with syncopated rattle of grapeshot
with intact windows
but with empty eyes
witnessing the bleeding
things that give shape to life.
