Ya mi voz no es capaz.Already my voice is not capable.

Rostros Imprecisos #20 Inaccurate faces #20.

Already my voice is not capable.

I consider that my voice has not been able to overcome
the horrible rumble of war, only my ears
they listen to the cries of the butterflies that try
to fly away from the morass.

My hands cover the eyes so as not to show
the horrendous scenes of death descending
from the hollow screen of the television,
only the innocuous voice of the announcer hits
the paintings hanging from my four walls.

Outside, my voice is not able to stop
the dryness of the cracked earth
the blow of the wind makes
the leaves that fall unshelled.

The words just leave my mouth
I do not know if I can ask for help to lift
the few belongings that have fallen to me
on the side of the road, and my voice does not give me
to be able to scream
the injustices committed against my people.

Already my last breaths do not allow me
that my voice describes the fall of the leaves,
or how your hands picked up the water
to wet your lips already split

Si, hay veces./Yes, there are times.

          Rostros imprecisos #19 / Inaccurates faces #19.

Yes, there are times.

Yes, there are times that I like to write things in passing,
I try to describe the color of the moon when
this surprises me on my way to throwing away the garbage,
other times, seeing the wounded paths.
or the smell of feces from stray dogs,
Of course, yes, sometimes I try to decipher
the colors of the clothes of the passers-by,
that dress in the gray of the afternoon, of sadness
of Sundays, of the colors of the sand,
of the melancholic litany of the masses.

Yes, there are times that I like to write things in passing,
I try to understand the taste for indiscreet questions,
or speaking nonsense things of the absent,
lost in the distance of distant countries,
There are times I would like to understand the ancient smell
of the churches lost in the city, or the
palpitate slowly from the diners,
or the furtive looks of passers-by.

Me quedo / I stay.

           Rostros imprecisos #18 /Inaccuratre faces #18.

Me quedo.

 I stay.

I stay left with the reflection of your figure in the mist,
of your silhouette drawn in the shadows of the afternoon
of your eyes blurred with the color of the leaves,
of your fingers trying to pick up the tracks
of clouds covering those moldy roofs,
sometimes I'm stupefied when the flight
of the birds are lost in the murmur
of the crowds asking for justice,
or the gaunt steps of our elders
wrapped in their dreams of times gone by.

I stay floating among the trembling of your lips,
and in turn the diaphanous tulle that covers your skin
he was able to unravel the mysteries
drawn on the majestic walls
of our temple.
