Mariposa.

 

Solo las mariposas son capaces 

de descifrar el misterio de los días,

de esos días que se pierden

entre nubes y sueños

días que escapan en medio

del vuelo rápido de las moscas.

He aprendido con sigilo

el balbuceo de sus elitros

rozando sus parpados,

en su vuelo eluden los rayos

de la luz que golpean el vértice de las hojas

solo las mariposas han sido capaces

de transfigurar el esbozo de tu sonrisa,

de cambiar los colores de las alegrías

de eliminar el peso de las sombras.

 

Solo las mariposas han sido capaces

de dibujar en el aire las formas

misteriosas de mis dioses,

ellas esquivan los reflujos de la brisa

cuando trato de remedar sus  movimientos,

ellas envuelven el espíritu del universo

entre el palpitar de sus antenas,

despejan las dudas de las incertidumbres

al rozar mi rostro siento las vehemencias

de las cosas cotidianas.

 

 

Butterfly.

 

Only butterflies are capable

to decipher the mystery of the days,

of those days that are lost

between clouds and dreams

days that escape in between

of the rapid flight of flies.

I've learned stealthily

the babbling of his elytra

brushing his eyelids,

in their flight they elude the rays

of light hitting the apex of the leaves

only butterflies have been able

to transfigure the outline of your smile,

to change the colors of the joys

to remove the weight of the shadows.

 

Only butterflies have been able

to draw mysterious shapes

 in the air of my gods,

they dodge the ebbs of the breeze

when I try to mimic their movements,

they envelop the spirit of the universe

between the throbbing of its antennae,

clear doubts from uncertainties

when touching my face I feel the vehemence

of everyday things.
