Agua/ Water.

Agua.

Desde el hontanar de tu vientre

fluyes como el viento libre,

igual a la luz del sol

besando los pétalos de las flores,

tu surco lleva el húmedo sabor

de las lluvias,

y el relente de la noche acaricia

el rostro ajado del aguador.

Algunos temerarios ladrones

clandestinas usurpando tu libre

viaje entre el palpitar vertiginoso

de las venas secretas

que te llevan a las callosas manos

de los labradores,

las lágrimas derramadas

por cientos de pupilas no podrán

hacer brotar los yermos que un día

fueron el vergel y la vida,

 los arbustos ven llegar

su muerte en los páramos sedientos,

los pájaros naufragan en sus embates

con la calina de los días

zozobrando en la angustia.

Desde lo más profundo de los corazones

nuestra gente aúlla a los cuatro vientos

y recogiendo el llanto de las estrellas

claman por el regalo de la pachamama

el elemento que purifica todo

el agua lo mas sagrado.

Water.

From the depths of your belly

you flow like the free wind,

equal to sunlight

kissing the flower petals,

your groove carries the wet taste

of the rains,

and the cool of the night caresses

the withered face of the water carrier.

Some reckless thieves

they have subdued your torrent

taking it to other spaces,

now the kids can't get wet

his feet in the wet sap of the rivers,

withered the earth opens its skin

begging for moisture

that under spells has to return.

They take you through tunnels and pipes

clandestine usurping your free

journey through the dizzying throb

of the secret veins

that lead you to calloused hands

of the farmers,

the shed tears

for hundreds of pupils they will not be able

make the wastelands sprout that one day

were the orchard and life,

 the bushes come

his death on the thirsty moors,

the birds are shipwrecked in their attacks

with the haze of the days

capsizing in anguish.

From the depths of hearts

our people howl to the four winds

and collecting the cry of the stars

They cry out for the gift of pachamama

the element that purifies everything

water the most sacred.
